I stopped by here to fill up and use the restroom on Masters Sunday morning, April 12, 2026. I used Pump #6 of 16 and paid $4.649 per gallon for premium. Gas prices have been up because of the Iran war. The men's room was clean. The convenience store has a Chester's Chicken and Subway attached. There's also a Waffle House next door, which my friend and I stopped at on our way back to Atlanta in the evening.

Little things like that stand out when you're traveling and looking for a quick boost or something different from the usual gas station fare. It seemed like there was a staff change happening when I arrived, because I had to wait briefly at the counter. One employee was counting out a register and called over another to ring me up. It wasn't a big deal at all -- they got me taken care of quickly once she came up. Overall, it was a smooth stop. Clean facilities, friendly enough staff, and efficient service. My biggest 'at-a-boy' goes to the counter clerk, 'Amanda'. She was intelligent/fast on the uptake, efficient, well spoken/articulate, genuinely friendly & pleasant. Based on her attributes I asked her if she was the manager. She said, 'No, just an employee.' With her presentation & abilities, she should be at least a supervisor. Great spot to stop on a road trip and for truckers. Dog park in the back and showers also in the rear. Bathrooms were clean even if a bit outdated. Recommended as a great stop during a road trip. --Service/Staff-- The staff recommends ordering ahead since the food is made fresh behind the grill. Once the restaurant side is closed there are several ready to go foods that are made and packaged up for you to pick and go if you are in a rush to get to your destination. --Food/Products-- My recommendations is still the simple hamburger that takes at least 5-8 minutes to make. I would call in ahead and just pick up your order. There are two locations, make sure you go to the correct one. --Capacity-- Plenty of spots to park your vehicle and there are dedicated spots for truckers. Don't you hate that? I'm used to disgruntled bored clerks behind the counter and a gross sticky countertop for the snacks but was totally surprised to see how clean and bright this gas station was. I also definitely appreciate the fact you can pick up lawn stickers for Augusta Disposal & Recycling which comes in so handy when you open your junk drawer on Monday nights and realize you have bags and bags of leaves with nowhere to go. 5 stars for the convenience, 5 stars for the cheap Shell gas, 5 stars for the nice people behind the counters and 5 style points for the flashy car wash that draws me in like a moth to a flame at night.
