I love sprouts so much it's my favorite grocery store I think ever. Their produce and meat is always so good. They have great specialty dairy and all of their non-perishables are top tier. As a gluten free person I know I can get a full cart of groceries here and not have to compromise. Some of my ALL TIME favorite Sprouts picks are: - Bizzy espresso roast cold brew - good culture full fat cottage cheese - bubbies pickles and sauerkraut - LIVE SODA SPICY CHERRY BERRY flavor!!! - sprouts dill pickle chips made with avocado oil - Kalona farms heavy cream - siggi's vanilla skyr yogurt - sprouts mayo (weirdly good) - lesser evil popcorn - groundwork coffee - rotten foods sour gummy cruncheez The staff are always nice and accommodating. Sprouts is a great place to find some of the things I can't find in other supermarkets here. I appreciate the way sales are posted. Not only is it easy to browse the newest ads, I like that there is overlap in the ads--one day that you can shop two weekly ads at the same time. Because this location is a little farther from me, this perk makes it easier to combine the trip to save both time and money. Of course, our favorite is the bulk shopping items; okay, maybe mostly the gummy bears. They've gone up recently, but when you can get them on a sale, it makes it all worth it! read more

I am writing to formally express my concern regarding an incident that occurred at your store on 6/24 , involving both a manager on duty and a deli department employee. During my visit, my daughter and I experienced extremely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. The manager on duty spoke to us in a disrespectful and dismissive manner after we raised a simple concern. Instead of providing assistance or attempting to resolve the issue, the manager became argumentative and "smart" in tone, which made the situation uncomfortable and inappropriate for a customer setting. In addition, a deli employee used profanity in front of customers, including my daughter. This behavior is completely inappropriate in a retail environment, especially where children are present. It reflects poorly on the store's professionalism and customer service standards. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and to shop in an environment that is safe and appropriate for families. Unfortunately, that was not the case during this visit. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed internally and that appropriate action be taken to address the behavior of the staff involved. I also ask that steps be taken to ensure this does not happen again in the future. Please confirm receipt of this complaint and advise me of any actions taken regarding this matter. This is the best store I have ever been to!! Not only are the people kind and helpful but the managers are very present and they make sure their customers are taken care of. They walk you to every aisle to help you find anything you need which is something that no other grocery store actually does. Most the time they'll just point and pray you find it but these guys make sure you find it!! Some of the cashiers working here are very rude now. I come to this area quite often for work from South Florida, and this is definitely something new. I also found out that even though they encourage customers to bring their own bags, which is great in my opinion, the cashiers will not bag your groceries for you if you do. I was told that this is "how we do things." I will say, though, that I take my own bags to locations in South Florida and have never ran into this issue. I really like Sprouts. To be honest, I haven't shopped here a whole lot but I think I'm going to start going here more. First of all, I like the size of it. It's small but you could probably buy all your groceries here because they seem to carry everything. I came here recently because my friend couldn't exclaim more over their bacon. He really had me convinced to go to the butcher shop and get their bacon after I told him about all the crappy bacon we've gotten at the super market and how expensive it is. Well, it really is awesome! And the price is same as super market and this bacon is much better. They always seem to have other meat I want to get there as well. I got filet on sale and it was really good. Their cuts always look good. The sushi looked really good too. I would like to try that some time. I love the vibe at all Sprouts. They got rid of the one in Vestavia and I was devastated. I hope they will consider bringing it back. I've been to this one and it is always crowded but clean and well stocked. Their bulk section is amazing. I love grinding my own little bit of coffee, getting spices, lentils, rice etc. you can get as little as you need. Sprouts' is great for small families or single people. Kindest staff as well. Of course, this should be expected as the store began as a produce stand in California many many years ago. On a busy Saturday they may be out of a few items so do come early to get it while it's hot. If you are looking for the biggest selection of grocery items in town then this may not be the place for you. If you are looking for quality items then they have it. Sprouts is getting back to providing great service along with great food options. I had kind of started going to other grocery stores in the area because I felt Sprouts was kind of starting to get lax with being friendly and acknowledging customers. However, the last few times I was there, I was greeted and offered assistance. Additionally, the cashiers have been friendly and made sure to ask if I had found everything I needed. I love the produce at Sprouts. I generally get fruits and vegetables from here. I've had issue with meat being bad (chicken specifically), but Sprouts allowed me to exchange or return it with no issue. I actually love shopping at Sprouts! The prices on their produce is always good. Today I went in because I saw they had a 2lbs pack of strawberries on sale for $1.98. When I got to the register they rang up $4.99. I asked the sales person were they not on sale and then I showed her the online weekly ad. She then informed me that the prices online were different from in the store. This was kind of confusing because this was in there weekly ad for this location. The sales person did honor the sales price but informed me again about their online policy. For the most part I've never had a problem with Sprouts before. I absolutely LOVE Sprouts! They have some of the best prices for fresh produce & meat. My only gripe is the location. Both locations are definitely out of my way so I have to plan a trip to come here....ugh. I keep it simple when I'm here. This Sprouts is located in a cute strip mall on the hill. The store is newer looking, and very clean. I came in looking for a perfume I had purchased in a Sprouts in Austin TX. They did not carry it, so we decided to order sandwiches from the deli. They were delicious, but it took forever for them to be made and they were not busy. To top it off, they charged us for bacon, on three sandwiches and there was no bacon them. They also forgot to put cheese. So we were overcharged and underserved we brought it up to the cashier and she did not do anything about it. We were in a hurry to get to where we were going otherwise I would have waited for them to rectify the situation. read more

Love Sprouts and wish there were some closer to my home. The facility is always cleaned, stocked and well staff. I almost lol when the cashier and another customer were discussing Publix's prices and thought they were too high. Sprouts is not the most expensive grocery story in town, but they are not near the lest expensive either. I passed by the cheap grocery store with awful looking produce for reasons. I did pick up the Prime Rib Roast because it was $2 less a pound due to a sale price than than Whole Food. I had to pull the trigger because I needed to start prepping it before the occasion. I still have bulk chocolate cover nuts from the last time. I will go back soon to get the other items I need for a family dinner. I have no complaints about the brand. Sprouts really lives up to its name. They have a great selection of vegetables and garden plants. Their brussel sprouts are excellent. The price is well worth the amount that you buy. I'm still eating through the bag I bought a week ago. The layout is very nice and easy on the eyes. If grocery arrangements could be an art, they've mastered it. Do not buy the sushi here ever. I think enough time has lapsed from the last time I bought refrigerated sushi to remember how bad it was. It was $14 for a roll and nigiri. It was really, really awful and it smelled like what frozen cheap sushi would smell like when frozen for too long. I don't know why I thought buying sushi would be a great idea. Watch out health food stores!! I am very impressed with this place. I truly was not expecting much. Many places claim to be a farmer's market and well priced but this blows them all out of the water! The big questions are...how does it compare to whole foods, earth fare, etc.??? My opinion is for groceries definitely better. For other things about the same. If given the choice I would choose sprouts first!! Here is the run down... Produce: the most variety of different fruits and veggies I have seen and for sure the best priced! Even the organic section is low priced for being organic. A major bonus is that it is super clean! I can always count on the best selection of avocados whether I want them that day or the next couple of days. P.s. the average cost of avocado at sprouts is .68 normally I am used to atleast 1.50. There is always plenty of produce and it never look s picked through. Major plus for me. If I had to rate this place on produce selection I would give 6 STARS! moving along.... General crocery: dairy, canned food etc.... The dairy area is full of healthy options. They are a little less than other stores in the same market but I have noticed other places have a bit More variety. Their lose spices however are the best options in town! Price and variety wise. The meat selection is great and it is all non-gmo, no hormones, and fresh Was soooooo close to giving it 5 stars but I think the staff at the checkout counters are a bit unprofessional at times. I was impressed the first time that I cane to the hwy 150 location. The Best FRESH Italian and Brat sausages around . Great prices . Although the Hwy 280 store did seem to impress me more with several more options available at the Fresh Meat section . The staff at Both places were nice and especially the staff that worked behind the Fresh Meat section @ Both locations . The produce in both stores are beautiful and decently priced. Both stores very clean and never crowded. Love the small town vibe . Reminds me of markets in Germany and London. Very clean, small with an at home smalltown feel . I shop here for a few reasons, one of them being the outstanding customer service that I receive with each visit. The associates are knowledgeable, helpful, and enthusiastic to help. The cash registers move quite quickly, and the people at checkout are friendly more often than not. Another reason I shop here is because Sprouts offers a wide variety of products that are not available at some larger grocery stores. They have fresh seafood, a wide variety of produce, and an alcohol selection. The products are clearly labeled and it is very evident which products are discounted. Sprouts also offers some already prepared meals (like rotisserie chicken, soups, prepackaged salads & deli sandwiches) that I love to grab on my lunch break. If you're not a grab-and-go type of person, they also have an area where you can eat in the front of the store. My only complaint is that sometimes, the produce may not be at its peak freshness. There have been several occasions where I've gone here and bought grapes that looked pretty good, only to be blackened and moldy once I get home and take out the ones at the top of the bag. This has also happened with other fruits I've purchased from here (this time, it was cherries that were $4/lb). That being said, if you purchase pre-bagged produce, be sure to check it thoroughly prior to purchasing it. Really good location, conveniently located on m way home from work making it easy in and out. First thing that really stands out is how clean this store is. Full of healthy choices can be found throughout the store. Fruits and veggies are some of the freshest in town on a regular basis. All the stores have their moments they shine right after deliveries come in, however these guys seem to consistently provide quality produce at a reasonable price. From what I have seen costs are equal to or less than the other stores in the area. I like that they don't have the same stuff you will find at all the other stores in town. From a large quantity of bulk items to canned and boxed foods they have great options that provide good variety in your daily meal planning. Meat selections are very fresh and have great quality. Great cuts of meat at reasonable prices. I haven't really had any interactions with the staff except at check out. As some other reviews indicated they aren't necessarily the quickest and aren't always the most friendly. They are a quality store with quality product offerings. Could put a little extra into customer service interactions, but that is about the only place they all short. read more

Yes this a grocery store, BUT they have an awesome selection of food for quick dinners. I usually pass by on my way home from work, and lately I've been stopping by and they have some quick, easy, and tasty food to pick up. Their soups are amazing (especially the southwestern corn chowder), prepackaged meals to heat up from the deli, and even bundled meat and veggies containers that are quick to cook. They also have a great selection of items other grocery stores don't keep stocked. That, and everything is always neat and fresh. It's a little pricy but it's worth it. The people working here are also some of the sweetest and nicest people. A minimum of 3 employees smile and ask me how I am every time I am in there. Love this place. read more

I pass this location on my way to & from work on weekdays but today was the first time I decided to stop. I immediately liked the atmosphere. It wasn't too crowded which really is something I could get used to and they stock many items that I've never found in the grocery stores that I frequently shop. I guess their prices are in line with other farmers markets or sellers of organic products but just a tad pricier than I'd like to spend regularly. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is due to a person preference - they don't carry raw dairy products. ): they're are a few other things that would be nice to see but still a great store. The Venue: Homie with a little country feel. The store is easy to navigate and find what I need. The Goods: The vegies, from my understanding, are locally sourced and better priced than other grocers. Meat is natural and quality sourced with in house butchers on site that will prep any meat request. Supplements are all well priced with thorough selection. Great coffee selection. Candy, nuts and grain bins are great too! Thwy even encourage taste testing (which we do every time we go) before buying. The Peeps: They are always smiling and ready to assist with almost any request. I really do prefer this store over the other "wholesome" healthy stores. A few weeks ago I had an issue with my vehicle and while I waited for help, the staff kindly put all my groceries on ice (they offered to store them in the fridge), allowed my kids to stay inside and hangout...it was super cold and basically went out of their way to tend to us! We were so appreciative of their kindness! We went back tonight and had another great experience. The staff, great as always looked for a couple of items they were out of due to the 72 hour sale and offered a rain check. Very thankful for Sprout's great prices and products! I've been going to this Sprouts for over a year now and I will not be returning. There's a great selection of organic foods, but the staff makes it not worth it. Three times in a row, I've had very rude and unfriendly cashiers. There's also inconsistencies with their bagging policies. Some of the cashiers will bag my groceries in my reusable bags and others won't but also don't say anything to let me know that they will not be bagging them. read more

The quality and variety of items in the store are second to none but here's the big kicker $$$. It isn't anywhere close to the prices of the other places. It really is like Walmart prices. The deli is amazing with so many tasty options and fresh sushi. The bakery sells some of the best bread around. Produce is bright fresh and tasty. The meat department was a surprise with its great cuts and competitive prices. Gluten free, grain free it's all here. I frequent Sprouts in Hoover quite a bit. I went today, specifically to get the rotisserie chicken meal, as I have young adults in from Arizona. At 445 pm, I asked a worker about the chickens and when they would be finished and everything out to complete the $11.99 Chicken meal. I was told 40 minutes. I went on about doing my shopping there and elsewhere and returned at 6:05 pm. Needless to say, there were no rotisserie chickens complete and on the bar for pickup nor were there any sides to complete the order. I guess the workers/emplouees should be a little more concerned about their job than the socializing between themselves and get the shelves stocked and the hot bars prepared. Very disappointed in the staff and the store as a whole today. read more

Sprouts is great for fresh fruit and vegetables at low prices. Always have ripe avocados on hand for less than a buck each. They offer a variety of cheese,seafood, and steaks. If you don't feel like cooking, grab a paper bag with a rotisserie chicken, 2 sides, loaf of Italian bread and gallon of sweet tea for under $12. Such a great deal to feed a family of 4. First experience at Sprout. The entire store would fit inside the prepared food section at Whole Foods, but what they lack in size they make up in freshness, quality and above all service. It's like going into a mini Whole Foods. Sure you don't have 94 different prepared salad options but you also don't have all of the pretentiousness. The management team were all out on the floor stocking shelves, tidying up displays and helping the departmental workers while being nice people who appear to enjoy their job. The last being a concept a number of other places do not grasp! It reminds me of the Earth Fare that closed but with much better pricing. There were specials galore! The bulk food items appear to be one of the better deals in town... with great prices on raw almonds and quinoa. Additionally, I purchased some of what turned out the be absolute best bacon I've ever had, wild game and organic fresh produce, that simply isn't available or isn't in the same ballpark of quality. I will be back and I would recommend this location. I bet it gets super busy! I went at an off peak grocery store time on Friday and it was quite busier than I anticipated! read more
