I do grocery delivery shopping full-time and so I go to every single sprouts location in the Phoenix and Scottsdale area week after week. And there is one cashier at this location that I personally feel does a lot of small detail details to go along way. That cashier would be Janae! Most of the time when I'm doing grocery delivery orders for customers, I have two or three customers at a time that I'm shopping for all at once. Janae is very thorough when it comes to slowing down and making sure that each order is separated, and that us as your personal shoppers are leaving the building, knowing that everything was scanned bagged and handed over to us with great respect and care. This sprouts location is always clean. The employees aren't in your face obnoxious political nut jobs like at some other locations and it's in a safe part of town where you won't have to get worried about being robbed while you're getting your organic produce! This is definitely in my top three sprouts out of all the ones that I frequent! (10+ locations weekly) Now the only thing missing in my life is getting a part-time job here! I had a really great experience at Sprouts Farmers Market thanks to Alex, who checked me out the other day. I believe this was the location near Glendale and 16th Street. Alex made the entire checkout process quick, easy, and genuinely enjoyable. He had such a positive attitude, was super friendly, and made great conversation without slowing anything down. It's not every day you come across someone who clearly enjoys what they do and makes customers feel welcome. Little moments like that really stand out and make a difference. I sometimes mess up what I'm ringing up or have a hard time weighing spices and she's so kind and patient and there to help. I love seeing her each morning I come in. I live in Scottsdale, but honestly choose to specifically shop at Glendale Ave store. Shot out to Chris Paul and Alex who are always smiling, helpful, caring, and knowledgeable. Really good staff here! POSITIVES: 1. Clean and Organized 2. Items in stock (they never run out of unpasteurized milk) 3. Fresh, organic, non-GMO, & a very clean/healthy selection of food items 4. Size of store is perfect 5. Quality of meats, produce, and perishables 6. Sushi and deli freshness 7. Pre-made food is fast, easy, and good 8. Discounted items when it's close to "sell by date" instead of just throwing it away. 9. Staff pride 10. Options for sale items CONS (compared to crappy Scottsdale Miller Rd location): 1. DIRTY 2. Unfriendly and useless (majority) staff hired here. U can tell most are unhappy working there (which says something about corporate/local management not caring about this team). 3. Transient customer base, so shoppers are disrespectful, rude, and dirty. 4. ALWAYS out of our preferred milk and many other items in general. 5. Limited selection. 6. Quality of produce is picked over. 7. They consistently don't reflect their "sale" pricing when checking out and paying. I always have items that are advertised at a certain price then when I get home and review the receipt its wrong. Or they never put my rewards number in so I don't get my points. The only negative (in general) is the cost of food but that's everywhere... I would shop more here if I didn't have to worry about the prices. And Sprouts should consider wages that reflect their employee's skill level since I observe all the hard work they display to the public while being a customer in store. read more

I found everything on my grocery list and many of the items were organic. Also, several items were packaged in glass instead of plastic - yay. I used self check out because it's easier to put away when I get home, if I group items like my kitchen is set up. Today I had the good fortune to have Janet N overseeing self checkout. I had inadvertently picked up a jar with a loose lid that dripped all over my groceries. She sent another employee to get my item and helped me wipe up the mess and clean off my hands while we waited. Janet N was friendly, helpful, and professional. This is a great supermarket for fresh local produce. Parking can be a tad difficult as the parking lot is relatively small. Today, while checking out, my login wasn't working and Stewart gave me an impressive tutorial in how to get it to work. I was very impressed with his diligence to customer service. I have the best experience with Chris Paul (like the basketball player) who made the best recommendations for me at the meat counter and Stuart at the register was wiping everything down, keeping the place clean and even reminded me to put my rewards number in because he knew a few of the things I picked up were on sale.
