Straight to the point review: their staff is friendly, helpful, and gets the job done. They recently have made an effort to do more markdowns keeping their products rotated better. The butcher even on his way around the store made a fun gesture to us being cold, always nice to have those moments. They are always clean and keeping their organic produce stocked even into the later evenings. They stay in stock with a majority of my regular grabs (besides the canned New England clam chowder... please someone bring this back) whenever I come in. I shop at this Sprouts regularly and overall I've always had a good experience. Most of the employees are very kind and helpful, especially the employees working up front. Unfortunately, I've had a different experience with the gentleman who works in the deli and makes the sandwiches. He comes across as very rude and unwelcoming, and I've noticed it's not only toward me but other customers as well. During my most recent visit, a lady was patiently waiting while he finished making our sandwich because she needed some ham. Instead of simply letting her know he would be with her shortly, he rudely told her that she was "going to have to wait a while." I understand the deli can get busy and employees may be juggling multiple things at once, but there's no reason to speak to customers that way, especially when they're being patient and respectful. I really enjoy shopping at this location and the rest of the staff is wonderful, so I hope management can address the customer service at the deli. read more

I previously went to Whole Foods. Whole Foods didn't have bulk bins henceforth came here to get remaining items I needed from bulk for the week long stay in Phoenix. Friendly staff here. I headed straight for the bulk bins getting nutritional yeast flakes, organic walnuts, organic rolled oats, and raisins. I wished the raisins were organic. Many organic items in bulk yet would have liked to see more bulk items that were organic and more variety of bulk items aka in San Francisco where I am from we have Rainbow Grocery Cooperative with a wide variety of bulk spices and cacao nibs, and most of the items in bulk there are organic. Pretty good selection of other items here from hummus to Ezekiel bread and decent produce. Four stars and would return! read more

The SPROUTS store on 43rd avenue and Thunderbird is one of my favorite stores to shop in. I go there several times a week. When I walk in I see so many familiar faces of the excellent staff that are always friendly, kind, and helpful. I love to sip on a hot cup of coffee while I shop, I call it sip & shop. I love sprouts. I recently started the carnivore diet and sprouts is one of my main stops. I've always liked sprouts but now that I have a special diet I've been frequently going here. The products are always fresh and they have great sales! I'm glad there's self check out now, I prefer not waiting in line for someone to check me out. I don't go to Sprouts a lot just because they are typically more expensive than other grocery stores. I typically only go when I want something that only they have. But the workers are always fantastic, the store is always clean, and their selection is wonderful. But today I want to highlight this particular store for having a station where people can come in and have heat respite and take a bottle of water for free. This sprouts is way bigger than my local one. Even though it took a little getting used to the layout, I was able to find the same fresh products/quality items that I buy from my local store. I will say that I was greeted by two different employees when I walked in. (Maybe the lost look on my face gave it away). That stuff is not important to me, but I know there are some people out there that like to get noticed. The selection of deli foods is a little larger than what I'm used to (as in more stock of a particular dish), which is a good thing. I had stopped here after work one day, so I wasn't exactly trying to cruise all the aisles, but I will one day. They have to have more stuff than my store because it's bigger. As my other store is, too, this one is clean. Staff is clearly identifiable and plentiful, that is something I am NOT used to. I will go back to this one when I'm in the area. read more

Very clean, sorted and easy to find everything. Self checkout is speedy, workers are great. Knowledgeable and when I need a substitute for ingredients they have a few things off the top of their head and I don't have to pull my phone out and begin searching. The baby food section has a lot to choose from, a majority of the pre-made and packaged foods through the day have awesome flavours and are always cooked perfectly. Bakery is great as well, always find way better deals and variety at sprouts compared to other stores. I am basing this review on the fresh fruit/veggies. The quality is horrific at this location and I will not be returning. There was a rotten apple amongst the bunch I was going through. It was so gross. Only found two halfway decent apples out of the entire pile. None of the other fruits seemed to be fresh that I went through. This is what a farmers market is supposed to be is fresh high quality fruit and veggies. I am not impressed. Sprouts used to be excellent when it came to their fresh produce, but it has gone downhill immensely. I'm going to try another location. The location that closed on Bell and 57th Ave. was so great. I like the new layout. Everything is so much brighter, I can actually read labels! They have a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables Most of the meat is now prepacked but if you don't see what you want it never hurts to ask. I may never become a fan of self checkout, they will help you if you hit a wrong button and need a reset. read more

A lot of the customers that shop here are a bit on the ruder side they'll see you coming and still block you from moving around them even after saying excuse me. After getting all my groceries I decided to use the self checkout thinking it would've been faster than waiting in a line for a cashier to ring me up. What a mistake. I was waiting for my receipt to print and there was no employee to watch over the self checkout, 2 other self checkout stations need an attendant help as well. Such a mess, and to see a male employee with a short brownish curly hair just walking by not helping was super frustrating. One of the cashiers tried helping me but she needed to get back to her checkout line and I didn't get help until she called for crystal which I am guessing is the manager of some sorts. Extremely frustrating situation when you're just standing there looking dumb and no seems to really care enough to help you. I'd rather go out of my way to a different sprouts than return to this one. Hopefully they get an employee constantly monitoring the self checkout, so they do have to wait 5 minutes for simple help. read more

I was there yesterday around 10:30 AM. Self checkout is a mess. There were only two cashier registers open and they were backed up and the store was busy. One self checkout was out of service because it needed to be reset by the cashier, who was busy helping a difficult customer. There were THREE other Sprouts employees milling around and nobody was helping her. I moved from the checkout station that needed to be reset after another one became available and scanned about 15 items in and saved my alcohol for last to give the lady some more time to deal with the difficult employee. While I was doing that, there was one lady with a Sprouts shirt on standing around and I asked her if she could do an ID check real quick. She said that she could, but that she wasn't on the clock. I finished scanning non alcohol products and then I got to the end and scanned my beer. Self checkout cashier STILL HELPING difficult customer and the self checkout station that needed to be reset was still unavailable and customers were forming a line. I asked the self checkout cashier for a quick ID check, she said she was dealing with another customer and told me to be patient and wait. All i needed was a quick ID scan check and she was standing 10 FEET AWAY FROM ME telling me that she can only handle on customer at a time. I dunno, if it was me, I would have told the difficult customers that I would be right back, walk 10 feet and ID check the customer and go back to what I'm doing.
