Once on the third floor, I was seen by a nurse or lab tech. within 3 minutes. She took my blood sample through my left arm and that was it. I was out of there very quickly. I spent under 8 minutes in the building. My results were released within 2 hours in the "My Chart by Epic" app that Cleveland Clinic uses and everything came out normal. No complaints. I recommend the Lakewood Family Health Center of Cleveland Clinc for all your blood work or general doctor visits need. The front desk nurses are real friendly. Waiting room is a tad small. They try and fit you last minute for emergencies but don't always count on it. Because it's in a plaza there's plenty of accessible and regular parking. It's fairly easy to get to this location in general. Upon entry, I was shocked how quiet the waiting room was. I realize this is probably just luck, but I was seen near immediately by the doctor I visited at this location. The waiting room was clean and large with local art hanging. I thought it was really cute that this building was abundantly decorated for Halloween. A nurse informed me that the different hallways were having an inner-departmental Halloween decoration contest. It was really charming to see as I was led to the exam room. If you can see a doctor at this location, I think it's worth the drive.

I have been a patient of SWFP for about 16 years, with Dr Christopher Dolega as my primary care…read more There have been a few times (due to insurance or job changes) that I've had to see other doctors and I can't even tell you how happy I was to be able to come back to SWFP. The first thing that impresses me is that I never have to wait. I hear other people talk about waiting for 30, 60 minutes to see their doctor on their appointment. SWFP runs in such a way that NEVER happens. I check in, sit down in the waiting area, pick up a magazine... and within minutes I'm being called back. Once in the room, the excellent nursing staff weighs you, asks why you're in, checks your vitals, etc then leaves you. The doctor usually arrives within 5 minutes. I've had to see other doctors within the practice and with the exception of one (message me if you really want to know), they are all wonderful. Getting an appointment is never an issue- they have limited evening and Saturday hours which is very helpful. But I will take a minute and sing the praises of Dr Dolega. He is so kind, easy to talk to, laid back, knowledgeable and comforting. He treats much of my family now and always asks how Mom or whoever is. I also see him for my gynecological visits and I am very much at ease during these visits. I cannot rave enough about Dr Dolega and I am so glad to have such a wonderful resource near home.

This is when you start to review stuff like your doctor, dentist, gas station, or fast-food joint you secretly hit up once every couple weeks (Taco Bell on W. 117th, I'm looking in your direction). And herein lies my doctor review: Dr. Loos has been professional each time I've seen him and is one of the few doctors I've seen that goes out of his way to ask multiple questions. My family doctor, when growing up, was definitely the old-school how're-you-feeling-OK-here-are-some-pills-see-ya-later type. That's not the case here. And recently when I've been the sickest I've been in about 10 years, I was able to see him an hour after I called to make an appointment. I was drugged up and better that afternoon. Can't complain about that.
