We hired Spunky Spirits for our wedding in Ybor City and were blown away by their top notch service from start to finish. I worked with Ally and Christina for the planning and coordination of our drink menu and quote. Both ladies were wonderfully pleasant and accommodating for all of the specific needs of my event. Christina was very quick to respond to my inquiry and questions along the way. She worked with me to add specialty cocktails to my menu along with craft beer from our local Safety Harbor brewery. The Spunky Spirit pricing model worked well for us and our event as we were changed for alcohol consumed, rather than an per person cost. The quote we received was incredibly reasonable and less than the quotes we received from other vendors. The service at the actual event was great. Vinnie and Shauna came with all of the glassware and bar setup (customized specific to my event). They were friendly and provided excellent and quick service to our friends and family. We've used Spunky Spirits six times now and have always been impressed with the service and value. Most recently at our summer pool party the weather was abysmal. Arthur, our bartender and Jon, our party pal were amazing. They saved the day. Spunky Spirits is so lucky to have them! Our party, although extremely wet, was an amazing success because of Arthur and Jon. I'm so grateful for all that they did with a tent collapsing on the bar, the power being out for 45 minutes and 50 people wanting food and drinks who were stuck because my road was flooded like a river - all at the same time. Spunky Spirits handled the bar for our wedding seamlessly. Communication was easy and prompt, and they accommodated all our requests so well. We (nor our family) had to lift a finger which was so nice! Marion and Leslie were THE BEST! They kept the party going and were so so friendly. Both had smiles on their faces the whole time. You wouldn't think that this was a job to them, they clearly enjoy what they do. Most of the night people were bringing me drinks, but when I had a chance to actually make it to the bar myself, I felt like a celebrity princess! John helped carry things in from and to our car, ran to the store beforehand and grabbed some water and gingerale as he noted their absence and offered any other help we needed. Recently attended a wedding as a maid of honor in which spunky spirits and party pals worked. Although, the venue had plenty of space, the tables were set up where no one could walk between. The bride asked them to move them apart. You would have thought we asked them to move the moon away from the earth. Big eye rolls from the workers. Service was so bad that one of the bridesmaid was cleaning tables and helping serve the champaign. The poor bartender was left with no lighting and had to serve with a flashlight between his teeth. Again bridesmaid helped out serving at the bar. Then the big one came at the end of the night, they claimed they were not in charge of clean up even tho the bride paid for that service. The wedding party had to clean up the venue. Had we known they were not going to fulfill their contact, we would have started clean up earlier instead of when we were walking out the door. The bartenders tried to swindle $500 out of one of the groomsmen and the serving staff had extremely poor attitudes. Would never hire for my party and will not recommend to anyone I know. Save yourself the headache, hire a more professional company. read more

We hired Spunky Spirits for our wedding in December 2021. Unfortunalty despite the good reviwes they have our experiance was mixed. Initail comunication was excelent and we did not think any issues will accure but sadly that was not the case. We booked 2 bartenders and only one showed up. No one called me or my cordinator to give us heads up even though they had our contact numbers. My cordinator informed me that when the one batneder showed up he did not say anything about being only one until she actually asked him when his assistant arrives. They said it was emergency and we understand that but proper steps should be in place in situations like this and a phone call and heads up should be a must. Weddings in one time in life event so its not something we ca re-do. Knowing in advance would have allowed us to take some action to remedy the situation, insted we were left wondering when/if a second person in fact will show up. The bartneder that show up served drinks without napkins, stirs and traws which were provided by us. They had also promised signs for the bar for his and hers drinks which they did not display and our guest did not even know until our special drinks (we found out next day). The bar set up was absolutly terrible and I had guest saying the next day they had no idea what luqor was served because the bartneder had sodas out insted of displaying liquor.When I gave them my feedback and asked if they have a proper presidures in place for emergencies and questioned why we at least did not get a phone call about thte shortage of bartenders the response was pretty much none exsitnant and all they said was things happen. Unfortuanly i would not recommend based on these. There are plenty of other comapnies to chose from and we unfortnelty regret that we did not do so! read more

Our wedding was December 28, 2019 and we worked with Jenny from Spunky Spirits. We actually worked with Jenny the night prior at our rehearsal dinner as well. While we did have a tough time communicating with Spunky Spirits, we did enjoy having Jenny as our bartender at both events. She was super friendly, very helpful and (what I love and appreciate most) is that when someone was letting their alcohol get the best of them, she had no issue intervening and being that bad guy so that neither my husband or I had to. You don't get that kind of service with just anyone! Additionally, we hired some party pals to help with various things throughout the night and while I did not catch their names I remember their faces and can say they were also extremely professional and very helpful throughout the evening. All in all, we would recommend this company for various types of events. read more
