My husband and I, do it yourselfers on our own small remodeling projects, discovered 11" pine flooring listed for sale on Facebook marketplace locally. The wide planks appealed to our rustic cabin esthetic because it looked like it might have come out of an old New England barn. We made an appointment to meet someone at their warehouse on Dix Ave. in Queensbury (there is no Pine St. Location.) Jeff was on site when we arrived. He explained the process where they take unfinished tongue and groove wide pine and distress it. Using tools they beat on the surface, then stain and poly it in the color of your choice from the stain sample board. We took two samples home to compare with our existing cabinets and furniture ultimately deciding on their chestnut finish. I've posted 11 photos of our flooring- some in process. My husband and I did the installation ourselves and it was easy to do. There were no warped or unusable boards in our prestacked order. It was ready for pickup at their warehouse at the time we were told it would be ready. We loaded it in our truck by ourselves (which was fine due to covid social distancing.) We're really happy with the immediate change to the feel of our cabin in the Adirondacks that this pine flooring made. We'd use this product again and if you like this look you should too. Glad I didn't see the other reviews of this business before I purchased this floor. Honestly, while I would certainly appreciate working with nice people who offer great customer service...we interfaced with the staff for 10 minutes total and I'll enjoy this flooring for many many years to come. This "business" doesn't even deserve 1 star. One of the owners, Eric, could not have treated me worse. I first contacted him bc I had had a horrible experience with another company doing a really poor install and was looking to have new flooring put in. We started some dialogue online about what I was looking to do and then he invited me to come out to their "showroom" and see the product firsthand. It was NOT a showroom! It was their workshop in an old warehouse full of male workers. NOT a safe place for a woman to go to on her own. Not saying anything negative about the employees, just not a safe situation to put a woman in. I talked w one of the employees, bc Eric wasn't there yet even though he knew I was coming, and we went over everything I want to do and buy from them (flooring along w furniture and a room divider). He was great and went over most details with me. Eric gets there and we go over the details again quickly. When I say quickly I mean he gave me about 5 minutes of his time before he was too busy to talk any longer. I drove over 1 hour and all I got was 5 minutes of his time. In those 5 minutes, I got lots of "yeah, yeah, yeah, just send us pictures (of previous projects they've done) of what you want, we can do that, that'll look great! I left there with mixed feelings....excited with what I'd be doing in my home, but taken aback that I was going to be spending THOUSANDS of $$$ and the owner wouldn't even speak w me for more than those 5 minutes. When I got home, I sent pictures of what I wanted to do, again their pictures of work they've previously done. Item after item I was told "no, we can't or won't do that." Obviously, this was confusing and upsetting bc when I was at the "showroom" I was told I could get what I was wanting in flooring, furniture and room divider. As we were exchanging emails, I asked some questions about if there was any sort of warranty on the flooring and/or install. This was important to me since I was going to be spending thousands of $$$ on it and especially important since I had just had a bad experience. With that, Eric told me that he was unwilling to install the flooring, but if I wanted to buy products from him I could, but nothing custom.....even though he does or at least did do custom work. When I pointed out the fact that I was going to be spending a lot of money and should be able to ask some questions I got no response. When I stated I was disappointed he was refusing to make and/or install what I was looking for, AGAIN that he's previously made, he told me he doesn't have time for "demanding high maintenance customers." He later tried to back pedal and make nice, but it was too late. If you're looking for a company to treat you badly, take your money in exchange for "as-is" (their words) products, then this is the company for you. I too would get them 0 stars if I could. Mainly for the way they deal with their customers. I ordered a table from them and it's OK.. nothing to go wild over, I honestly think I could have built the same thing in my own garage. I get it's supposed to be "rustic" but It is VERY jagged, things get caught on it all the time, they would have done a LITTLE bit of a better job cleaning it up. But who cares about that part... My real problem with them is how they do business.. my table was incredibly delayed in getting built, I waited 2 extra months for it, and here's the real kicker.. I paid them $250 to deliver. TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS, and the guy shows up with an attitude because he got to the house prior to his arrival time and I got home about 10 mins after he arrived.. takes the table off the truck, and LEAVES IT on the street. I've never been so dumbfounded in all of my life. What on earth did I pay them for? DELIVERY. I demanded that this table be brought in my house and he gave me a great deal of pushback, so I called the owner while he was here, expressed my feelings towards this, and the driver did end up helping ME and my 120lb frame bring this incredibly heavy solid wood table in my house. I later got a phone call from the female who worked there with many apologies about my experience and that she was sending out a $250 voucher for a future purchase. As if I would buy from them ever again, but let me just say.... HERE WE ARE TWO YEARS LATER, AND I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THAT VOUCHER LOL!!!! This place is a joke. Take your money elsewhere. read more

On September 22, 2018 we drove 4 hours to this store as the business was advertising no more furniture orders due to a revamp of the business. They were selling everything in their showroom as they were just going to do wood flooring. Once there we met the owner who explained both he and his partner were very sick thus why they were reducing their business. We ordered a few pieces of furniture which was verbally stated would go into production within 3 weeks so we would have it no later than November. We signed the contract but was told they could not give us a copy but would email it to us. After several days we had to email them for a copy. Our copy now stated that all sales were final and production was 7 to 20 weeks. We emailed once a month to get a status and was always told our order was close to production. As a side note they were also selling the decor at 50 percent off so we bought several pieces. When we left the store we found a Hobby Lobby a few miles down the road. Guess where the decor was from. Hobby Lobby has the same items for less than this business 50 percent off. The business has continued posting more advertisements on Facebook about having sales, taking new orders and producing furniture for sale yet we were told they were so back ordered they could not get to our order. After the 20th week of waiting we called and told them we wanted our money back. We were told this needed to be in writing so we emailed them. They in turn emailed back saying all sales were final and would not be giving us our money back. We put comments on Facebook about our experience to which the business deleted. The owner, Eric, emailed us telling us to stop trying to sabotage his business and again went on an on about how he was dying so the business fell behind. I felt sorry for him the day I put in my order but his words are opposite of what the business is doing. They are taking people's money and when or if they ever find time you may get your order. We asked for fair resolution but they provided none. We filed a complaint with BBB. We are now on week 22 and we still have no furniture and ae out our funds. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!! Totally unsafe for both women and men to go to. It's in the middle of no where. I was on the phone w my husband as I was driving up to it. I had planned to anyway, but he told me to turn around and not go inside. I was supposed to meet w Eric, so I called to let him know I didn't feel comfortable going there, BUT he wasn't there and no one seemed to know when he would be. Hello?? I also had a bad experience with the very cocky owner. It is sad because they weren't like that when they first opened. When I gave some honest feedback (good and bad) on Facebook I was written a very nasty private message and my comment was removed. They don't keep there delivery date, which I chose way in advance, and then he tried to cry that he and workers being very ill. Don't take on more jobs if you can't handle the ones you have! Having health issues doesn't give you the right to have poor costumer service! He tried to make me feel horrible and say I was the one that was in the wrong! They advertised TWO free gifts for the hold up (guess I wasn't the only one that didn't get their order on time) and all it was was a coupon for another purchase. No thank you!
