They have massive cardio machines spread throughout, squash courts, fitness classes ranging from yoga to zumba or even boxing and of course power sessions that focus on the problematic areas we all wish were perfect! Ahem, behind, tummy, and those spaghetti arms... After your workout session, the locker rooms are spacious, and one can relax in the sauna with a nice hot oil skin treatment and melt all your woes away....When warm weather returns to Hamburg, they host a lot of events here at night such as cocktail parties. Students can receive a really affordable membership as well, so consider this gym or sports center if you want to workout a healthy body and healthy mind at the same time.

Feb I was told I was a member anyway. I explained I had not taken it up and anyway was going to another gym. April I moved address Sept I received a notice from a debt collection agency for 400 EUR. After some research I found it was the old budget gym I visited in January! After much debate and fighting, I had to pay this Oct I received another notice, from a new debt collection agency. The saga continues. Currently 400 EUR down for a budget gym that I have NEVER used. No response from the club or management but the debt collectors are always available. Other than that, the gym has basic equipment. Fine for cardio or basic bodybuilding, not enough for strength sports.

I like the City location because it's small and you don't have to keep changing floors. At the same time, Eppendorf and Wandsbek have better and more selection of machines and feel less cramped. Eppendorf has the added benefit of having a climbing wall so if that's your thing, go here. I found that Eppendorf had the slowest staff. I've been going to the City location for some time now and their reception staff is actually the fastest I've experienced, meaning easier in and out at the reception. I complain about them being slow but Wandsbek were worse and Eppendorf the slowest and least helpful. Otherwise, this location as the others was clean and airy. Just as expensive as the other ones, with all the benefits and drawbacks this entails.
