These folks did an amazing job for us from start to finish! Cory is a great communicator and arranged for the project to be done during times that were convenient for us (an issue due to a family member who works odd hours in a lab). We needed both wall repair (drywall) and painting done, covering 2 rooms. Cory figured out an exact match for the color and finish of our damaged walls. When Gerard showed up on time, he went right to work with the drywalling and was later (when drywall dried) able to paint our walls (up to the high ceilings) perfectly. He left everything spotless - even after sanding! Gerard puts all other painters we've had over the years (in other parts of the country!) to shame. Cory and team provided a great service at a fair price, in my case gutter cleaning on my 2 story house. Cory communicated very well and yep me updated on the schedule for when his crew would arrive. I needed my gutters cleaned before an appraiser came to appraise for a refi. My gutters had been neglected for many years and even had small plants growing out of them. Cory got me on the schedule and got the service completed before the appraiser came out. The quote and the actual cost of the service was the same (as it should be) and was about half the cost quoted by Angi and her related companies. There are lots of companies on the web that present themselves as local but as you contact them or go into their web site you find they are just a national clearing house that seems to contract with local contractors and add a large mark-up to the process. Squeegee Squad Rochester is a local franchise (it seems) business with a local owner. Cory and his team did great work. I had the Squeegee Squad people out to clean my windows a week ago. They arrived an hour late. After they were gone, I noted they did not clean the sills or the screens. I called them and asked about them and they admitted that yes, they "normally" do the screens and sills when they clean windows. This is also written on the paper receipt I had received. They did not apologize, but agreed to come back in two days to do the screens and the sills. They no-showed and never came back. I had paid in cash so no way to cancel a check to recoup my $312.30. I am very disappointed by this experience and will never hire Squeegee Squad again. read more
