At this point, I would still never buy any new windows from this company - they honestly lost our trust with the initial experience we had with them. However, we recently had a small crack form on the inside of one of our windows and got in touch with Nordik immediately. They were fast in getting back to us to setup an appointment to replace the glass. George arrived on the appointment date, fixed what needed to be fixed, and it was a smooth process. George did an excellent job with the fix, didn't leave a mess, and was professional.... all things we expect for a company we handed over a lot of money to, and honestly a company who has overall been very unprofessional. You should give George a raise for helping your reputation.

I have a dog so use the doors multiple times a day and any colder weather (let alone winter time) makes this door harder to use than the one they replaced from 1968. They sent a service tech who said the frame is a bit warped. Since then they scheduled an appointment with the "manager" who cancelled the appointment without telling me. Took the day off work for nothing. They have not called me to reschedule. The "service manager" has visited with no resolution in sight months later. So much for that no BS warranty I was sold on. I am having a competitor change Nordik's doors less than two years after install.

Layer on that the full page spreads in local home renovation guides that end up in my mailbox on the weekly AND a recommendation from a neighbour about the product and I feel like calling these guys up was predestined. Last year we tried the dollar store magnetic curtain route as our patio door didn't have a screen to keep bugs out and the air flowing on those oh so rare Toronto summer days. It worked for about 35 seconds before my wide shoulders caught the curtain and ripped it right off the door frame. We made due for the summer but man did it look rough by the end of the year. We knew we needed a more permanent (and pretty option) so once we had been sufficiently brainwashed by mass marketing (and I forgot about all the web ads). We gave Phantom Screens a call to book a consultation. They advised that an consultation appointment could take a week - I was called back and asked if I was available the next day (SCORE). Consultation was booked and the sales guy was prompt, helpful, friendly and made strong recommendations. The single screen was quoted at $495 +hst, and an additional $50 for a decorative cap to close off the back of the roller. I was told I would be contacted by the office to schedule a install appointment, and that would be likely in 2-3 weeks once they finished fabricating my custom screen. I was called to book my install appointment within 3 days for the following week. So going from a potential 4 week time frame, we went to a week. Amazing! The installer, Michael, was amazing. Super friendly, thorough, clean, and very conversational. He took time to make sure everything was perfect, and that I understood how to properly use, clean and care for our new screen. A great experience, and I'm thrilled that I called early in the year rather than waiting until they get busy once summer comes. Best of all the visual footprint of the closed screen is no wider than a door. Highly recommend you give them a call if you're considering getting a screen for your home!
