I wish this place didn't close so early...like 5pm early. That said, we were there for about 20…read moreminutes and got a good sense of the vibe. It is a farmer's type market with some prepared foods, which were top notch. We walked the entire thing and grabbed as much as we could to eat. There are plenty of food places just outside the space that are open later as well. I got some meat sticks from a vendor, sort of farmers market style. There was also another stand that had fruit in a cup with chocolate. Our best deal were some arepas that were half off because it was closing time and they wanted to get rid of them. This isn't the place to take pictures, but rather to immerse yourself in all the goodness that is here.

I went in 2 different times: saturday at 3pm and wednesday at 10am. Two completely different vibes. I tried the famous sandwich from the black pig, viral chocolate covered strawberries and bread ahead. Black pig - the best one sandwich: it was AMAZING!!! I was a bit scared to get this since i was by myself but let me tell you, it was not heavy as i expected it to be. Just delicious overall and would totally recommend. Chocolate strawberries: I love strawberries and chocolate but definitely think you can find cheaper alternatives anywhere in london. Bread Ahead: my new favorite pastry place. I pretty much got a donut from this place (not this location) everyday because the black currant cheesecake donut was that good. I got the tiramisu and crème brûlée donut which my brother liked and i wish i could've tasted them before they went bad but anyways, I would totally recommend the donuts from here! Their chocolate chips cookies are HUGE and delicious as well. This was probably one of my favorite markets!

Everything is bio / organic. The apple merchant at the very beginning is amazingly good - you just fill up a basket with all kind of apples. I loooved the chicken burgers and eggs and beef burgers as well. I've found some really good fresh spinach leaves and some amazing italian rock salad. Definitely have to try the Bath cheeses and the dumplings....and why not, the crabs for 6£ each. Overall it is not that cheap but it's still really cool, useful, healthy and good!

Generally around 20 stalls - from pasta to burgers, veg to oysters. It's not all bio / organic as one reviewer has stated, but don't let that detract you - generally the quality of the produce is exceptional. Highlights include - the 'gyoza' man - when he turns up - well worth queuing for and sampling. - fish stall - gary's fresh fish - always ready to help with suggestions and ideas for cooking - the apple stall (generally closer to the station entrance) - awesome selection of fruit and worth trying a variety V difficult to park nearby as the local streets get filled up with traders' vans. Still, it's so close to public transport, why bother!
