As a Catholic who also happens to be a new neighbor of this church, I thought I would walk my dogs through the grounds on a beautiful day while I checked out the church. I was approached by a priest, who's name I don't know, who scolded me for being on "private property" with a dog, and then continued to scold me as I expressed my surprise to his scoldings. I've never encountered such an unwelcoming and abrasive priest. He skipped all pleasantries when he approached me, and became even more upset with me when I assured him that not only did my dog not "crap" (his words) but that if they did I would always pick it up. Very surprised and disturbed by this encounter, I don't recommend this parish and will plan to stick to my former one instead. read more

Holy Family Parish, a subset of Living Water Catholic, is a Roman Catholic parish located in a nice and quiet area of Amesbury, Mass. The church has its own private parking lot, along with a beautiful interior and plenty of seats. We attend church here often, particularly in the summer when it is hot outside. Generally fans are running inside the church to keep things cooled off. The church is very beautiful with a vaulted ceiling. The sound system could be improved, but overall, seats are comfortable and there are no obvious vision blockages in the church itself.
