I went in with an intense stomach ache and after quick tests at the clinic I was walked to the ER. From here it was quickly diagnosed to be appendicitis and I had emergency surgery with an hour. The entire time I was there (under 24 hours) I was treated amazingly. I cannot begin to say enough kind words about everyone I met there. My night nurse Jess was truly a saint for putting up with my post surgery self. I wish everyone there the absolute best in their lives and careers. Thank you a thousand times over!! read more

As far as I am concerned, the care at St Anthony's has been top notch. I went into the clinic not being able to breath from the horrible stuff going around, and they sent me right over to the ER for breathing treatments and possible admittance. I was discharged after two breathing treatments, but after careful consideration from two of the ER physicians. I went in for my annual mammogram . . .not my favorite thing to do, but my insurance covers it and it's a smart thing to do. Today I got a re-call because of something that looked a bit suspicious on the results. Now, mind you, I'm always a bit suspicious of hospitals and such, so I definitely questioned the validity of a return visit, especially since it will be out of pocket for me. (I've been down this road before) In addition to that, it's always a bit of a scare to get one of these return calls. Terry was very patient with me and literally "talked me off the ledge", giving me numerous options, including payment options. Pendleton,OR if you can go anywhere else please do you'll be doing yourself a favor this Hospital provides 0 in services for people with disabilities they lack the ability to provide necessary communication devices or interpreters for your appointments the Dr are rude and the nurses are overworked and it shows everytime you talk to them they make appointment 3 to 4 weeks away then a day before or the same day they cancel with no excuses or information they do not reschedule you have to do that also if your going in for any procedure make sure your prepared for a bad time and no apologies for the way they treat you please read all reviews and comments on this hospital before making a decision of coming here and if you live here and your employer offers them as a provider choose someone else they don't give a care about you or your loved ones they will say they will call you back with results for test but you will never hear from them and when you call to talk to someone to get your results they will tell you they will call you back several days in a row this Hospital is beyond broken and the administration is not interested in fixing anything anytime soon read more

I was on a cross country trip and had an overnight stay in Pendleton OR. I woke up with a bad ear infection which was incredibly painful due to Tympanoplasty surgery my ear drums required years prior. I was seen 3 minutes within entering and the Dr. was also in the room after 5 minutes of being taken back. They had us on our way in 20-30 minutes! This hospital may look clean and new and the staff may appear compitent, but let me tell you, after over 10 years of experience with them from my own interactions as well as that of family and friends I am scared to be treated there gor any reason and even in an emergency situation would rather take the risk and drive up to cadilac hosp or any other hosp then go to st anthonys again. i was given up on by them and left to just die until my friends convinced them not to stop trying and fly me out to cadlic where i recovered fine and had every chance of survival. If you love someone, dont let them ever go to st anthonys hosp for anything no matter how trivial. My friend went in for heart trouble, when they finally figured out the proper way to place the pads for the heart monotor, they left the er room, my friends pad came off because the glue no longer worked from them messing around with it too much, the alarms went off because the reading was flat line and it took 15 minutes befor anyone bothered to come see what was going on. They are mean, unexperienced and seam not to care about anything but flirting with each other at the desk and get mad should you ask them for anything, and dont bother calling to see if your loved one who went to er is doing ok, they will hang up on you. Bad bad bad place. Just ask anyone who lives around here. We would rather doctor ourselves then let them touch us. They have more deaths and law suits then by far they should have, its not right and no one will investigate. To avoid closure they sold out to another entitiy and their record starts fresh and clean, same staff, same hospital, just a reset to let the mess contunue on and the deaths add up. read more
