Dr. Funk explained things to me in a way that I understood every aspect of the surgery to come. When the day came I was 100% confident in his abilities and it was nice to have that level of peace and calm. Two years ago, when I had my hearing test, I asked for my results and she told me, 'Your ENT doctor should let you know.' Dr. Stromberg never did.​Recently, I had another hearing test with the same technician. During the appointment, I mentioned that I have constant nasal congestion and ear pressure, and that my eustachian tubes and hearing are likely messed up because of my crooked nose. I also mentioned having post-nasal drip draining down the back of my throat. Her response was, 'Your nose has nothing to do with your hearing,' which is completely incorrect. ​When I countered by asking why else I would have constant congestion and wake up with ear pressure, she got defensive. She condescendingly started bragging about how much schooling she has completed and snapped, 'Would you like to proceed with this hearing test?' Ironically, at the very end of this visit, she suddenly handed me a paper with my results--even though she refused to do so two years ago.​The Kadlec medical system is terrible. Please, do yourself a favor: go to a different city where you will get much better care."
