I've been coming to St. Anthony's Medical Center in Hollywood now for about 3-4 years. The front desk staff is organized, kind, supportive, and on top of things. Lucy is always very informative and helpful, all of the ladies in admin are great, I always appreciate how quickly they handle calls, appointments and referrals. They always have me in and out, and the nurses are very skilled, friendly, and efficient. Both Dr. Ozdil and Dr. Lacy are thorough, considerate, and knowledgable. I have a personal preference for women doctors but Dr. Lacy is very kind and patient so you really can't go wrong with either. Dr. Ozdil is my absolute favorite, she's very intelligent, compassionate, and it shows how much she cares about her patients. I struggle with anxiety and hypochondria so I've come to her so many times for a variety of issues over the years and she is always very understanding and accommodating. She is excellent at offering good recommendations for treatment, referrals to address specific concerns, and answers all of my questions. My health has improved greatly in her care, and in the care of the St. Anthony Medical Center staff. Thank you guys! :) read more

I really like this office and the care they provide. Scheduling is usually pretty smooth, and if something urgent comes up, they do their best to get you seen right away, which I really appreciate. On occasion, appointments do get canceled, which can definitely be inconvenient if you've taken time off or rearranged your schedule. That said, the providers and nurses here make up for it, they're attentive, compassionate, and thorough. Every time I come in, I feel listened to and well cared for, and they always take the time to get to the root of what's going on and come up with a thoughtful plan. Overall, despite the occasional hiccup, I trust this team and value the quality of care I receive here. read more

I was dealing with some health issues. I was a really scared after being in the ER for nine hours I was sent here and I am so thankful and grateful they are very nice. It's very clean no long waits parking.! You get text messages updates for test results, etc. it was a great experience, considering my circumstances:))) Everyone is very professional and very nice! DO NOT GO HERE. ‼‼‼‼ SCAM SCAM SCAM. If you go here for dentistry specifically it is literally a gamble with your health and your teeth, which you can NOT get back. I went they said I had two cavities, (long story short I had NONE. I recommend going to Air Dental in Burbank. Better service and better tech that precisely caught their blatant lies). They tried to say they only can do one service per appointment dragging out your care and scamming your insurance. The dentist lady was extremely aggressive and unprofessional and needs a cleaning herself. She will catch you catching her lies and try to lie and manipulate the situation and raise her voice while she does it. At the end of the day when your dentist has bad teeth you know something just ain't right. Run away fast! read more

This place is terrible. They've implemented a new call system that doesn't work--you can never get through. After waiting on the phone for two hours, I finally gave up and went in person, only to be met with an older Latina woman at the front desk who couldn't care less. The Russian woman Manager is also awful.The doctors are great, but the staff is awful. I probably will find another general medical professional. read more

This place is infuriatingly difficult to make an appointment with. they have a call line that has an operator where you wait on hold for 30+ minutes, when someone answers they TRANSFER you, only to be put on hold again, EVERY TIME. Sometimes the office they forward you too won't even pick up. I've used the callback feature they offer and NEVER get a callback. it's been ongoing like this for years. Very unprofessional. They rushed my teeth cleaning and injured my gums!!! The dentist was rough and unkind. Also, my teeth were still dirty after the cleaning. They sent me home without any aftercare and my gums are severely hurt. I went to the hospital to get some treatment for the pain. This was my first and last time at this place . read more

Fix your phone system! No one can call to make an appointment! Also, don't see Dr. John. He is shifty and if you have a referral, he'll mess with it and send you to a front place posing as a doctors office. He's also condescending and rude. Mostly with female patients and doesn't read your chart. Go to Dr. Joy. She doesn't mess around. I've had to argue back and forth to get the most basic care from them. But I know with my back, and everything, they haven't found a way to make money off of it. I only still go because of my Therapist. read more

I'm thankful for having this clinic nearby. The nurses are trying to do their job. However, the service is VERY slow. Making appointments barely helps. They keep you waiting, and waiting, and waiting... My latest appointment with the doctor -- I had to wait for almost 30 (!) minutes; the doctor finally shows up, only to rush me through the process, having obtained zero information about my case (recent hospitalization) -- even though it was the whole purpose of my visit. This demeanor speaks about lack of professionalism or care. Definitely, much room for improvement! read more

Disastrous office. I went there for my second Mpox vaccine and they said oops appointments were canceled - you should've been notified. Rescheduled online and went back today - waited for 30 minutes in a room full of sick and coughing people and finally just left because I didn't wanna get sick. I called for the first time a week ago today for a UTI and a physical because I've been experiencing other health concerns that need to be addressed and they told me the soonest they could get me in was a week later so fast forward to an hour before the appointment I get a doctor has cancelled text message. Now they're saying they can't get me in for another 5 days. What a joke. STOP OVERBOOKING YOUR CLIENTELE WHERE NO ONE CAN EVEN GET AN APPOINTMENT IN A MORE TIME SENSITIVE MATTER! At first I was treated with kindness and respect. As soon as Dr. Fern left, I was given Dr. Ozdil who over time, began to neglect refilling my prescription and responding to my medical requirements. Dr. Ozdil broke the law by refusing to sign my California State Disability paper. Dr. Ozdil lied saying Synovation Pain Management would be required to sign my disability paper, when they said it's the requirement of the PCP. During the Covid-19 pandemic I had a few different medical problems I had to have taken care off out of my provider network. A friend referred me here and boy am I glad she did. This place is wonderful. The first visit I had was virtual and was quick and easy. I waited less than 30 minutes to talk to my nurse who quickly assessed and helped me to get my prescription I needed without me having to bring in paperwork. She looked up my history and records and was able to determine what type of medication I needed and to approve it over the virtual call. The next time I had to come in for a physical visit but even that went smoothly. Less than a 30 minute wait time to see the nurse who examined me within 30 minutes and then the doctor was right there and giving me a full check up. Out the door in less than 2 hours of a visit. Most hospitals and waiting rooms are just 2 hours alone to SEE the doctor, and even then you won't get any kind of help or a lackluster effort. Not here, quick and easy altogether. read more

Still having to go here due to insurance reasons. My last visit I had to see a new provider in which I've never met before. He came in with an assistant. Immediately he was being very quick and rude. He asked about my referrals and I simply said "I am not aware of all of them due to my provider adding some extra new ones recently." He sighed and said "I don't have time to look through all the notes." Um What? Every time I get off the phone with them I feel as If i was treated with no care regarding any concern I have. The normal answer you will hear with them is "no." Without any care to try and help resolve whatever issue is going on. Whether it be rescheduling, advice, or needing help with ANYTHING. Once you are in the office you have a 20/80 chance of you being treated with any sort of kindness. You will ALWAYS be waiting even if you are on time for your appointment. Everytime I've gone I've had to go up to the front desk workers (who close their windows to just talk and I guess catch up with their friends) and legitimately ask when I will be taken back. Once I sat for an hour and 10 minutes before saying I had somewhere to be within the hour. read more

The fact that I have to even put one star is an absolute joke. First and foremost I would like to make evidently clear that I have been with this medical center for only a few months, but I have never in my life dealt with a more incompetent staff. I am a patient of theirs that came into their office with previous medical conditions. I was in a car accident and deal with chronic back pain. I moved to a new area, but was unable to change providers so I was forced to still use them as my primary care. Almost 2 weeks ago I woke up with excruciating back pain. I called to set up a virtual appointment to go over what next steps to take, knowing very well that x-rays, MRI's and ultrasounds were the likelihood of what procedures I would need. I asked them for whatever procedure that was needed be placed under urgent, not routine! I was assured that those steps were taken. After the initial virtual appointment, an authorization for an MRI + MRI w/ contrast were requested. I called for 11 days straight checking in on the status of said MRI's, some days I was told the approval from insurance was completed, some days I was told that the authorization was never sent out. I continued to stay on top of the order seeing as how my health was weighing in the balance of my primary cares hands. After realizing nothing was being done with urgency, I was forced to seek out a health provider in my area for an x-ray and ultrasound to which I paid out of pocket. The findings were not good and was told I would need an MRI. Having faith that my primary care and insurance would do their due diligence, I returned to them with the utter most desperation on the order of the MRI's. I am here today to say that after over a week I was told once again the authorization was never sent out. I don't know if they understand the severity of my situation, or the staggering amount of phone calls I made each day for over a week to ensure the urgency of the matter at hand was absolutely, crucial to my health. Again to no avail my voice went unheard. I've never been treated with such disregard. Never receiving the call backs I was reassured I'd get to let me know the status of the approvals. I would highly recommend against this medical center. Your health means nothing to them. I have no idea where they received their medical training or if they have ever faced personal ailments in their own lives, there is such a lack of empathy, it is alarming! read more

This is one of the worst medical offices I've ever been. It's like, they couldn't do more of a half assed job if they tried. The reality of our healthcare industry is that unless you have $$ to burn, you're going to get relegated to using one of these Dollar Store versions of what a doctors office should be. I have low tier, Covered California insurance and for some reason this ended up being my Primary Care Physician. Took them weeks to schedule me for an appointment for a mysterious stomach pain. They hardly answer their phones. They did lab work on me, told me it would be three days and it's now almost a week and still no results. Avoid this place, they won't really help you at all. Maybe urgent care is better. read more

My Provider was Gihan G Anthony DDS I WILL be canceling my next appointment I went to the dental part of this medical center and I was soooo excited but then a few things bothered me about my dentist.. she seemed really caring but oh my god was she ruff with my cleaning. I felt her stab into my gums a few times before she even started to clean and one stab in particular on the bottom row, on the left inside of my mouth was SO BAD it might've been an accident but even then that is not excusable.. ( I had the numbing cream btw and my gums aren't that sensitive they dont bleed when I brush) She even asked me if my gums bleed when I brush and I said "no" and she said "Maybe its my fault then" UM YEAH DUH you were stabbing my gums!!! Then I said "only sometimes when I floss sometimes" after she stopped scraping the plaque off. During the cleaning I could feel how the numbing cream was already wearing off a bit and my eyes were so watery from trying not to cry. The punctures made my gums soooo tender and now it feels like I have a healing wound, its sore and tender. I better not get an infection. She kept asking me questions while the dental assistant was trying to work on me and then I could barely understand her underneath the mask and her accent. I don't really blame her but it was a bit difficult to know what was going on. My gums are really sore now in all the places I felt her puncture. I will NOT be coming back. The area isn't that great either. I won't lie though there was some useful information given to me and it was how many cavities I have. I think she said one of my budding wisdom teeth was infected or something but I'm still not sure because I read more

Hands-down this is the worst office I've ever been to in my life and I have lived all over the US. First off I get booked for appointments that I don't need or that they don't offer. They have sent me to specialist for procedures I didn't need like a root canal. Then when I explain where my tooth is chipped I keep being told over and over it's not shipped, she showed me that my tooth was just sharp and went to put a sealant on it and also grind it down. Two times she did it and did not hit where I told her my tooth was. I eventually got fed up and asked her for a mirror to point out where the tooth was. She then told me that I was pointing out a different tooth before that was closer to the back. This would be a complete lie because I know exactly where the truth is I've had it like this for months and it is closer to the front so that would've made no sense. So now I have this crap on my teeth that I don't need and then I'm being told that I have a cavity. On top of all of that she pointed out to another tooth and said I had a filling there which I have never had a filling in my entire life so she was wrong about that too. Anytime I come into the office they ask me if I'm here for some thing that I am 100% not there for. If I could give that place negative stars I would I will never come here again. read more

This really is a spectacular clinic. I have been a patient here for several years. They have always been very professional, have provided excellent service, and knowledgeable, effective treatment whenever I needed it. Whenever I call, they answer the phone call right away, and address my inquiries right away. They provide excellent referrals. I like the staff and the doctors. They keep track of my records very well, and provide follow up visits to monitor my overall health situation.
