We replaced all of the carpet prior to our renters moving in, we had the entire house professionally painted and everything was in perfect working order. Our tenants moved out in March 2021 and the move out pictures Laura sent us were horrible, blurry you couldn't tell anything from them. She tells us we need to replace a few light bulbs and one slat of one blind and everything else is great. She does this and refunds the renters their deposit! We put the house on the market to sell, our agent said we may have an issue because the house is not in great shape but it's a sellers market so we will see what happens. We finally get the pictures from the inspection done by the buyers and the house is horrible. The carpet is ruined (after only 3 years), the renters dogs have destroyed the baseboards as well as the back door. The back yard was dug up and destroyed by their dogs. There were so many other things but bottom line is never use them! They will only care about their 10% and not your house.

Now, with just a couple months left on my lease, Nest Finders is refusing to repair two damaged doors, including a porch door that's a clear safety risk. My lease specifically lists "repair of inoperable doors and windows" as the landlord's responsibility, yet they keep denying service and ignoring my written requests. It's disappointing and unprofessional. After a year of being a responsible tenant, I'm being dismissed and left with safety issues they're legally required to fix. Tenants deserve better communication, accountability, and respect than this.
