Mine are already jacked up to begin with, and that's where I carry all of my tension. I wanted to get a massage, and wanted to make sure it was from a reputable place. One of my Canadian friends suggested I go see his massage therapist. So he made a call to see if she could get me in and she did. Shawna was absolutely wonderful! Super friendly, very caring, and you can tell that she is passionate about helping others heal. Which is exactly what I needed. Now. I had not had a massage in at least 10 or 12 years, so this was a much needed visit. The place is cozy, on one side. They have a workout room with personal trainers, and the other side is the massage studio. Shawna came out to greet me, explained everything we were going to do, and asked what problem areas I had. I felt very cared for, and heard, which is always important when you're dealing with someone who is going to be working on your physical health. What's great about Shawna is that she can be as talkative as you like or as quiet as you like. I personally enjoy good conversation, so we had an amazing chat while she was working on my neck and shoulders. It was a good distraction for me, because I'm way too much in my head, and that translates into tightening up my neck and shoulders. That they had not been loosened in a very, very long time. I would absolutely 100% come back here again, and I probably will since I will be coming to Canada at least once a year. He let's you know where you are out of alignment before you usually say anything. He makes sure to take his time, and answer any of your questions/concerns and does the best he can to get you feeling better. I never leave my appointment feeling horrible, because if you don't feel right, you say something and he makes it better. My wife and I go every 6 weeks for maintenance, but before we got to that point it was a more regular visit starting weekly, and then moving out. I can definitely tell when it is getting close to when I need to be adjusted as things feel really out of line. The office is always clean, smells great as there is a massage therapist on site as well, and there is another chiropractor named Dr. Tony. The receptionist Amy is fantastic, and overall they feel like family/friends and not going to the doctors. If you have a flare up they will do their best to get you into the office to see the doctor. Before you start with getting adjusted they either get x-rays in the office or have you go get some so he knows exactly what is going on before doing anything. This is a great chiropractic office, and I will continue to go here as long as he will keep my inline!
