Just an update: We currently have been here for 3 years now…read moreand our baby boy is so loved and cared for by so many people. The fact that they always have little stories to tell me about him tells me they're spending quality time and engaging with him. They're very professional but also warm and loving to every kid I've seen the. Interact with. When my son is at home and something exciting happens, the first thing he says is "I can't wait to show Corinne". I wouldn't trust anywhere else with my son.

Based on my tour of Seven Oaks, I was very impressed. The children were PLAYING and LAUGHING. I…read moreknow that sounds basic, but at this point my husband and I have visited at least a dozen daycares, and this was the only place the kids seemed super happy. The teachers all said hello to us and chatted - another good sign. The administration was probably the best we've seen - you can tell they love their jobs, they love children, and treat your babies as they would their own. They take 1 year olds and up. 1 year old must be off a daytime bottle and taking a few steps. The price is competitive and I love that they have part time options to start getting the kids adjusted if you want. We have not placed our baby in a preschool yet, but Seven Oaks remains at the top of our list.

I worked harder here than I ever have in college. And that includes my current studies in nursing…read moreschool, though they're very nearly tied in beating me senseless with paperwork. The kids were fantastic. Anyone with the brains to get in can and will fit in here. The faculty is great. The administration was such a problem that I can't give more than three stars. In fact, the administration is what I attribute my pure hatred for high school. Unfortunately there's a school board that oversees the principal. So even though there are huge problems with the current (not personal experience with this one, just from having spoken to several members of the faculty) and previous (good riddance!) principal, it's next to impossible to convince the board that there needs to be a change. If the principal is allowed to pick on teachers he or she doesn't like, it affects how the teachers treat each other and thus how the teachers treat the students. This is a very liberal school. I wish the dress code were less strict. The point of going to Franklin was supposed to be having the ability to be yourself, and to learn who you are. Why can't kids in high school shave a mo-hawk or dye their hair blue if they want to?

During the first child's time, there were bullying incidents and understaffing leading to abuse. I saw a teacher assistant slam my daughter to the ground aggressively. My child suffered emotional distress that we still deal with. The final incident was starving my baby who started at a chunky 35 pounds and lost weight over a month due to inadequate meals and fluids despite their claims. I noticed when her clothes started to off and her bones were becoming visible. They harmed my child causing food insecurity. I have an active CPS case and a state citation.
