I also have an intermittent fascination with the devonshire tea, which I was happy to find here they offer with daily scone variations. A friendly, everyday cafe with great service - I loved their coffee ordering system - a wipeoff pen used directly on the stainless steel countertop then swished away. Paperless! I was happily surrounded by laughing groups of people while I sipped my very good Toby's estate coffee, a testament to the popularity of the place. I'll be back.

The knot rolls here are amazing, and the French bread is consistently good. Being right across from the train station, its an easy stop for most commuters.
