Do Not Come Here If You Need Urgent Medical Attention ‼‼ My…read moreMum was told to come here due to signs of cellulitis in her leg and they made her sat in a chair for FIVE DAYS which caused a dvt which spread to her lungs causing a Pulmonary Emboluism and was rushed to The Grange to be put in intensive care. Not only that but the staff were absolutely terrible and couldn't do their jobs properly, They gave her the wrong medication, didn't tell her certain things such as needing to lift her arm a certain way after having her arm balloon up from putting an iv in the palm of her hand, she had to be told by another patient nearby that she had to position her arm correctly to help the pain and swelling. The nurse just walked away and did absolutely nothing!!!!!! The doctors said she would need an MRI scan too but never said when, it took 5 days for this mri scan but by the time she had the MRI done, it was too late because sitting in a chair for 5 days caused the dvt, They also said she should've had a test for blood clots IMMEDIATELY but obviously this did not happen due to their neglecting. This was all preventable and she is now having issues which she is going to have for the rest of her life and she is limited to things she can do all because the staff at this hospital could not do their jobs.
