Set in sprawling green surroundings, this is a beautiful place. More like a hotel than anything else. The patients' rooms are large and well-decorated. The most memorable thing about this hospice is the games room. Here they have lights and music to keep a person occupied, and everything is very well planned, thought through and executed. Ty Hafan is a small shop that quite often get overcrowded. But then that's a opportunity to socialise which customers are more than willing to do, its a part of our culture after all ! The great joy in charity shops, and Ty Hafan is no exception, is to find a rare bargain ,something unusual. Shopping there the other day I found the complete series Of 'Faulty towers', a 'sit com' that is one of my favourites For 40 pence . Ok, so it was on video tape that is rapidly becoming obsolete but many people have the facility to transfer tape to disc easily. If you have this facility then there is a large selection of interesting video tapes at only 10p each. If you think this is too cheap than the ladies will willing accept a donation for a very good cause. There is also a good selection of Christmas cards at very economical prices. The men's clothing is all in very good condition and some of it is obviously new from well known shops on the high street. (I had better not give names) Perhaps a few additional words about the charity are called for Ty Hafan (Welsh for 'Haven house') is a home offering specialist care for children suffering from life -limiting conditions and also giving the whole family a source of strength and support in their tragic circumstances. The home is not a part of the NHS so receives no guaranteed funding. So Ty Hafan is well deserving of your support and custom.

It is located…read morenear Highfields free church, which is situated on Monthermer Road, the home is based within the Crwys road and Cathays area. It is a day care centre for old people who can really no longer take care of themselves. Although some other older people have gone for the company and food for a different environment. Voulenteers apart from one or two people who help run the place and work as a Chef cooking food for everyone. The food is what you will need the money for really. The prices are brilliant though for they are cheap being under £5 per person, per meal. It isn't a place to sleep in, it is just a place for the older folk to come and be looked after and it is somewhere for them to socialize. This company hasn't been running for very long and Highfields free church have only recently become involved in helping run it and organise it. I would recommend it to all older people wanting a day out and to be looked after for a cheap price.

There are several pharmacies in the Penarth area, and also a fairy large Boots store, so for this store to remain open is, in itself, pretty impressive. But I'll be honest and tell you that I'm not entirely sure how they do it. With a decent range of all those essentials, and a pharmaceutical counter in the back, I start to wonder if Penarth is just made up of a whole lot of sick people. But the staff are polite, and it's got a far more pleasant feeling to it than Boots' cold and sterile atmosphere. A good place to try first, just don't be surprised if they don't have quite what you're looking for, or if you end up paying that little bit extra.

First of all it's probably the cheapest lunch you can get in Cardiff hands down. for £2.99 you can get a roll/sandwich/wrap etc with a bag of crisps or desert etc and any drink in store. Some of the drinks alone are near £2 themselves so you really are getting a bargain. And the food is good quality in all honesty, I had a lovely little chicken wrap and breadsticks with a humous dip.

This company's centre has a large site where these children will go if they should so wish to. They supply lunch; a swimming pool, toys and many activities. The staff are really friendly and chatty. The place is fully equipped and it also has a playground. This children's centre is based in Caerphilly which is just about twenty minutes from Cardiff city. It is the ideal building to go to for disabled children; they cater for all disabled children from 0-18 years old. The centre was opened during the year of 1990 and has several partnerships along with the charity organization that I have already mentioned above. All of these charities and organizations all help enable this companies fund-raising group today. Those who work at this centre help take care of the child and support them and their families as they watch over the child grow. Before the children attend this place they are mentioned by the Social Services and Education professionals. The child and it's family is visited at home at first; or at school or they have an appointment where they get to visit this place. The employee's that take part within this process will be the most appropriate candidate needed for the task. Discussions are made about the most perfect Services from this company that will be ideally required by the child in questions so that the centre can meet that child's every need. So I recommend it as the most perfect centre for all disabled children to go to and spend a day out on. I have many wonderful memories of this place because my mum used to work here as a Physiotherapist and the staff where all really friendly towards me and my brother... We still stay in touch with many of them today...

Entering the place is a bit strange though as you have to buzz in (I think there are several different businesses that all use the same building). ~ This business is actually obviously CWMBRAN Clinic (hopefully Yelp moderators remedy this spelling error in the business name soon!) --- ~ Customer Service: This clinic offers a load of different fertility related services but I'm not well versed in many of them. I've mainly only ever come here for standard birth control pills. Coming here for the first time may be a tad confusing as you are given a card to determine what you're there for, get called to speak with the receptionist for a chat, before getting a chance to speak with the doctor. It's a bit hard to explain but after some fumbling around and direction from the staff you'll get there eventually! The staff are quite friendly, bordering on too talkative (had a 10 minute chat to me about her holiday) but I can't fault that to be honest since they're probably just trying to make me feel more comfortable. Another downside (that the staff really can't control) is that every time I've visited, the wait has always been really long since it's normally quite busy. I've had two different doctors here, both women quite friendly and seemed quite thorough, ensuring that the medication was correct for me. --- Overall, there aren't many things wrong with this place. Friendly people and no-nonsense as well. Only *real* negative is the dreadful waiting time (prepare for up to an hour). Other than that, this is a fine place to go for fertility treatment!

There is a nice spacious checkout area that has plenty of staff on as you can also pick your prescirption up from there. There is also a smaller checkout that you can go to to put your photos in to get developed. When you put your photos in they will get delivered back to the store a few days later, I have found this is one of the cheapest places to get them done.
