As with most of the charity shops along albany Ty Hafan offers a good collection of second hand products at an incredibly reduced price, money is placed into a children's hospice. This shop is very similar to the others with a modern renovated look and a odd assortment of cluttered clothing frames, books, and odd bits & bobs. One thing about this shop that is useful is the sorted clothing. read more

This shop almost perfectly balances that line between the old school brand of charity shops that are run by little olf ladies who don't know whether they have any puzzles in the back room and the new (rubbish) charity shops that have low lighting and are laid out like a boutique. This shop is new-looking but it will still offer you the excitement - sounds like an odd word to use, I know - of a good old rummage. Also, this is a local charity (a children's hospice) so you will be helping out local people. That's a wonderful thing. Beware, it's easy to miss, hidden in a little recess next to Howells Solicitors, so keep your eyes peeled. I recommend this placee unreservedly to you. read more
I found Ty Hafan charity shop, that little bit more funkier than your average charity shop. It was carefully and creatively decorated with a 'cwtch corner' which I thought was quite a sweet, extra touch to the charity shop experience. It's always nice when an establishment like this tries to break the mould and you notice the difference. It provided a nice shopping experience and had bargain £1 rails for you to save even more of your cash. The clothing was of an excellent assortment and there were some really pretty tops and dresses in here. This is probably my favourite charity shop in terms of layout and decoration, sadly I never found anything to my liking, but you know how it is, next week I'll be likely to purchase something I can never envisage living without. Albany road is somewhere you need to go if you are as much of a charity shop fan as I am, it has about 8 or so on this road fighting for your trade. read more
