The current pastor, Pastor Goldie, is the sweetest, most caring pastor and the church is lucky to have her lead them. Her compassion during a difficult time is greatly appreciated along with the church members. I can understand why my Grandmother loved her church so much.

I went to this church for the first time on my first full day on a college campus. I really like…read morechurch here, from the uplifting music to Pastor Chris's conservative sermons with a dry sense of humor. Very similar to my childhood church in Muscatine. I was about 5 minutes late to my first service here, and I regret it. Communion was very clear, though the Muscatine church did it a little different. There is a balcony area where I get a good view of the pastor and the worship band. Over the course of 1 hour and 45 minutes, I got to know quite a few people during and after the service. I even got invited to a college/career Bible study group that meets on Sunday nights near Danville. This is a great church, and I look forward to attending again next week. Final grade: 5/5 (100%)
