We stayed here in early May so outside school holidays. There was probably only 30 people in the park, which can usually hold about 700. I think my review may have been very different if we'd been staying at a busy time!
We hired a chalet for just £149 for a week. The chalet had everything we needed but the decor was a little dated. Nice enough for £149 but I'd have been disappointed if I'd paid the peak season price of more than double that.
A short walk to the beach, through the rest of the caravans and tents. The park has a centre with a swimming pool, cafe and bar all overlooking the beach. The quality of the food, and price, was equivilent to a good pub (about £30 for two people with wine). Free wifi in the cafe as well. Fantastic views over St Ives Bay.
Friendly staff, an easy check in/out system, great food, easy internet access and fabulous views meant we had a fantastic week, and perhaps stayed in the park mroe than we should have!
NB I think this place would be hell during school holidays! It's also NOT in St Ives. It's about a 10 minute drive. read more
