There are a lot of rooms so it can be confusing where to go when you get there. There is a self service cost room that is very spacious. Our meeting room was nice and had a self contained bar. Everything here, again, was modern and professional. The red wines served were very good - for a house wine. Some variety in choices and flavors. This event served appetizers. One of their specialties is walleye fingers. These were nicely done. No fish taste and the tarter sauce was very good. A self serve bruschetta was good as were the chicken wanton wrapper items. If you get an invitation to visit...go band enjoy.

The event coordinator was excellent offering suggestions and options during planning, but then was attentive to so many details as the date drew near. Everything unfolded without a hitch. We opted for a cash bar, pizza and ice cream. Our guests were delighted with the various pizza options all made there. The chef even proved a beautiful and most delectable gluten, dairy, soy, and egg free for two of our guests. We had an area for mothers of infants and toddlers as well as an area to enjoy the warmth of a big beautiful fireplace which our southern guests especially appreciated. Truly everyone seemed to have a wonderful time. We can wholeheartedly recommend PVCC's food, beverage and atmosphere all of which reflect a cordial staff. The seasonal decorations throughout the building added to the festivities!

Once seated the server came and gave us the specials of the day and disappeared. We didn't see her for at least another 20 minutes, and that is no Exaggeration. Once she reappeared, she took our order and the food came pretty quickly. My client ordered the superfood salad which she said was amazing and it was of size that she couldn't eat it all. I chose the less healthy option, Cajun Chicken sandwich which was very good. Seasoned well and hand cut fries which were cooked to perfection. I give the rating of 3 mainly because of the wait. It was lunch hour and most people don't have hours to spend. Sure, some people may have been stopping in after being on the golf course for a bite, but clearly we were on a business lunch considering we were dressed up with papers and such. I would go back just not when I'm taking a client for lunch.

It was the venue itself and the excellent service that was most appreciated. Plenty of room to socially distance and the servers were exceptionally helpful and kind. All in all, a really wonderful environment for our reunion!

They saved my ass…read more I became stranded in Fort Wayne due to unforeseen financial circumstances and stayed here for about two weeks. The staff is generally friendly and helpful except for Mark who seems to be a minimalist when it comes to service. It's clean and fresh bedclothes are offered every night. They serve fairly decent meals at lunch and supper but breakfast consists only of a breakfast bar and coffee. I don't eat wheat so I skipped it every day. My sole complaint is that we had to leave every day, despite the fact that they have many lockers. Since I was stranded here, that means I had to lug a rolling suitcase, heavy backpack, and heavy gym bag all over town whenever I got out. Not fun at all. IMPORTANT ADDENDUM: After a three-night hiatus from the mission, I returned there last night (Labor Day, 20202} and had a rude awakening. Check-in time ends at 10:00 pm and I got there about 9:30. Since residents cannot leave once they enter the premises for the night, I sat just outside the door, catching up on internetwork. At about 9:50, I lit up my last cigarette. Five minutes later a guard named Charles poked his head outside and announced that the facility would be closing at 10 so I finished up the cig and tried to get in. But the door was locked! I knocked and knocked but Charles refused to open it until 10:59, at which point I showed him the current time on my phone. He then proceeded to lecture me (very condescendingly) about how it was past 10 and he couldn't let me stay. On and on he rambled, finally permitting to come in "only because I'm doing you a favor." Apparently he was going by the time on his wristwatch, not the internet time on his computer. When I explained to him how accurate the latter is, he told me I was "disrespecting" him. Really? Pointing this out is NOT disrespectful. His attitude was, though. I wonder if his mama taught him how to be so rude and arrogant. This dude needs some re-education and I suggest that the administration send him to Disney's Magical Customer Experience. "Disney resorts is focused on customers. On their first day of training, new employees learn that their primary goal, no matter their position, is to create happiness. Employees receive regular training so they have the tools to best serve customers and are given the creativity to solve problems in the most magical ways possible." Being homeless and begging for a place to stay is humiliating enough and I told him so. From his reaction, apparently this made him mad. So I did not say another word, which I find is the best approach to people who abuse their authority.

A person, who drops in can expect to be able receive two free meals a day (Lunch, and dinner). They also might have an option to stay for free, (three days)! And receive free (three meals) a day, with room and board! Along with a lot of other free things! Just take a look at this video, for an explanation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=RzYsYZ2DwFE America is becoming a very cold place. According to USA Today, more than 50 American cities have now passed "anti-camping or anti-food-sharing laws".... Somehow our city government has not been able to address this issue yet. What I notice is how citizens are still working with homeless people. By providing the three basics of the mission: (food, shelter, clothing). Along with free counseling on the different services the city offers. It can sort of connect people with programs that they did not know about! The politicians aren't really interested - they figure that they can buy your vote with all of the money that they are getting from the wealthy people. If you don't have money, you don't really matter much in our society. The ads on television aren't for you - they are directed at people that actually have good jobs and that can afford to buy the nice little "extras" in life. This is why the city of Fort Wayne really doesn't have much to do with this place. Before, During, After. I I I \O/ _O_ O | ( ) /(( ))\ / \ / \ (()) The "Mission Impossible" team at work. This location is one of the newer ones. The parking is easy to access and in great condition. There is a local park and outdoor walking path next door ad they have an amazing outdoor pol. Staff is friendly behind the check in station and at the front desk. It's an open concept that has a weight room, cardio room and a smaller room next to the cardio machines for cooling down, stretching and a few others. Above that you'll see part of the indoor track that circles the building and gives ppl a chance to cool off. They also have a kids play area and rock wall for anyone willing to try it or practice. It's a Great Wall. Inside in the back us their indoor heated pool with free water exercise classes. Classrooms are also there for other types of exercise class. Then there's this awesome outdoor pool. Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Opens at 11. It has as many things as a public pool minus the crowds. Don't get me wrong it does get crowded here but nothing like public pools. It comes with a wading area, kiddie area, baby area, whirlpool, good size water slide. They have a snack bar that has many healthy option with picnic tables to eat at. Music is playing and there are very clean outdoor bathrooms with showers. Lots of chaise lounges to lie on it regular chairs under huge umbrellas. Life is better when u work. It might as well be somewhere that is very organized and fun to go to to meet up with old or new friends.
