It only took two services for me to realize this is where I need to be…read more The praise and worship is moving, the word always seems to be on point, they have a mix of younger with the older and families, are actively involved in a global and community way, and have various groups and events for you to get involved in. I always feel warmly welcomed when I come, and the Pastors always make time to speak with members after service. Having 3 different services is a plus too, and I haven't had any issues finding parking on the street. There's free coffee and snake before and after service, and an overflow area outside the sanctuary for watching services as well. Next Saturday is their Do Good Global Meal Pack, where we'll be packing 275,000 to send to children in the Dominican Republic along with Kids Around the World.

An 8:30 traditional service for early birds. 9:30 Sunday schools for all age groups and interests. Then there is an 11:00 traditional service. During that time there is a modern "rock" worship service downstairs in the fellowship hall. I usually go to the 11:00 traditional service. The choir sings beautifully with voices from soprano to bass. The pastors are skilled and welcoming. Also, the acolytes are very skilled. There ministries are very good especially the massive operation of community assistance. I recommend this service to all people looking for a new church.

St. Agnes is well-located in Cherrydale and pretty much the only Catholic Church option in far North Arlington. It's a fairly well-attended congregation and the church itself is a contemporary (by that I mean 60's), semi-circular building. Not my taste in church architecture, but I guess I'm not there for the pretty building, right? If I had my choice, I'd go to Holy Trinity in Georgetown, but the proximity of St. Agnes and plentiful off-street parking make it the covnenient choice.

I didn't think much of it as a kid, but now I'm completely appalled at the lack of response from the church's leaders. This church has no business existing, and frankly those people should be ashamed of themselves; I'd hardly call of them real Christians.

The Chapel was extensively renovated a few years ago and looks amazing. The mass at 7pm on Sunday night is heartfelt, has music, and lots of incense. So they fix the busted automatic opening after 3 years and they added more handicap spaces. These should be marked in blue because many people out of habit park there. I love the adoration chapel but if the microphones in the main church are being used, the sound is piped in. It is still a great, a five star church for young adults, that is no small praise as most churches in the diocese have a tough time figuring out how to attract young adults. However I still strongly prefer the other churches nearby for Mass, my preference is because of the priests. Try it for yourself and know there are 3 others close by.

This is a lively, happy and welcoming church which enjoys keeping the congregation engaged in a variety of good works . From youngsters to the elderly this is a wonderful church.
