We needed a…read morechurch that was Spirit driven (not culture driven) and where the 'entire' Word of God is being taught accurately, without fluff. Because we are hearing Bible truth we leave church feeling enlightened, encouraged, motivated, and yes, even convicted sometimes. My wife and I are in the Bible everyday, not just on Sunday, so our church experience (teaching, fellowship, prayer, ritual, etc.) must all line up doctrinally, and thus far they do. I am shying away from critiquing anything else about Crossroads for that would likely be reflection of what we 'want' in a church as opposed to what we 'need' in a church. I would also add that we started attending Crossroads in the midst of the China Virus, which has affected all things fellowship related. Currently we DO meet indoors with certain precautions. Take away: the pastor is well versed and knowledgeable and the Word is going forth in this place.

I signed up as part of a tour to visit this site through the Navy Lakehurst Historical Society. It's a military-themed church commemorating important historical events through the past millennium: symbols of creation, myths, law of gravity, Leonardo da Vinci, Kitty Hawk, and lighter-than-air aeronautics ie Zeppelins and Blimps.

This is a very beautiful church both the upstairs main church and downstairs in the chapel. The…read moresound of the chimes can be heard many blocks away and it sounds lovely. There is a large parking lot in the rear. Most of the Masses are in the chapel which I think is a more warm expression of the people of the parish, where as the upstairs church is large with huge wooden beams in the ceiling & although the altar is very lovely I think you get a more warm feeling in the chapel.

Can totally accommodate very large groups since we've done multiple joint retreats here. The food was great and the dining hall staff are super duper nice, friendly, and pleasant to talk with. The sleeping rooms were pretty comfortable. Overall a great spot for group retreats.
