The assistant principal did not return phone calls regarding concerns I have about my child and the school. There is poor communication at the district. I emailed my child's program specialist for two months to get answers about an IEP. She wasn't following up I had to keep asking for an update. They don't have the proper resources for speech therapy. IUSD needs to update their resources for speech many things have changed and the district has NO CLUE! A One star rating is one star too many! RUN!!!!

Only reason why Inglewood have somewhat did minor remodeling is because of the attractions that have been brought like stadium, forum, nothing to benefits the future of the kids just the aspect of the city. I truly believe they need to replace all Inglewood district employees. I mean what else can it been? Where is the good outcome in such a big strong community. I would really like to know why there's no proper care for a brighter day to the students. Everyone is just so rude in this district. They need someone with a strong mind to challenge the good out the bad.

I like a few of my teachers and the subjects aren't too hard. It's small but yk I don't think a middle school could be any bigger. Only thing I actually care about are my friends, they're the reason I like showing up to school. I'm a 6th grader as of now so things could change in the future. I've always been apart of the Lennox school district so I wouldn't have any experience outside of Lennox to compare to this school. It's good though but it could be better

Warning to all parents: I do not believe this is a safe school. The surrounding area is dangerous,…read moreand parents deserve to know the truth. On August 29, 2025, during the first week of 6th grade, a student was targeted just steps outside the school gates. The suspects, wearing ski masks, tried to steal his Sprayground backpack by pointing a gun at him. His family was waiting outside the school when the suspects chased their vehicle and fired multiple shots at them. This child was not a troublemaker. He had been his elementary school's 4th-grade Vice President and 5th-grade President--a great role model who didn't even live in the neighborhood. He was simply targeted because of his backpack. What makes this even worse is that the principal reportedly knew similar incidents had been happening in the weeks leading up to this but never warned parents. Instead of hearing about such a serious incident from the school, many parents found out through the Citizen app. When parents asked the principal about what had happened, she denied that the incident had even occurred, despite many families already knowing about it. Parents deserve honesty, transparency, and communication when their children's safety is at risk. A school's first priority should be protecting its students and keeping families informed--not leaving parents to learn about violent incidents from a phone app. I would not recommend this school to any parent until student safety and communication are taken seriously.
