Do not feel ashamed or afraid they're so kind and welcome here, and will guide you through the process and won't charge you anything it's free. So please, I know we are all falling on hard times, use your resources. Someone somewhere else mentioned this church time. So every Tuesday 10am-12pm you can grab food, weekly if needed. Doors open at 9:30am I do advise trying to get there around 9/9:15am they use a numbered card system . So the people who get their earlier are in and out, unlike others who have to wait awhile, you still get food but might not get as much and might have to wait around awhile. I arrived at 9:20 and I was number 17 and I think once I loaded up my car I was out of there around 11:30am I want to say. I was patient and they make you wait in the church so it's cozy and everyone here is nice. Janet who deals with the food pantry greeted me and helped me the whole way, telling everyone I was new so I would know the process. Myron was such a pleasant man I think coordinates all of this. Was very kind and welcomed me. So someone goes around with you to areas and they ask if you like the items and you say yes or no and they fill up a wagon, of bags that you should bring any kind or they'll give you some. They fill them up and you bring the wagon to your car unload it and bring the wagon back in. If you're older someone will unload the wagon for you! The whole process was easy and helpful. Trust me when you need the help go get it.
