If you don't wish to participate, that's your prerogative. Personally, I find it fun, engaging, and a wonderful way to participate in the service. One of our parishioners is deaf, so incorporating sign language is a thoughtful way to help him feel included and welcomed as a valued member of our parish community. As for our pastor, he is amazing. He goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome, and that spirit of hospitality is one of the many things that makes St. Joseph's such a special parish.

My son has ADHD and now when we attend Local Church, their new inclusive ministry has a buddy just for him so he can be included in the lessons and take breaks when needed. All my kids are well cared for and the curriculum is fun and educational! My preschoolers come home singing the songs and telling me the Bible stories they learned! So amazing!
