Nice ,relaxing and informative 2 hour river cruise. They allow you to bring a small cooler. I packed a couple of beers for me, and a Mikes Hard for my wife. Lots of birds to look at. They stopped along the way and fed a couple of owls. That was pretty cool. After the cruise , we stopped at the Swamp House Riverfront Grill , which is right off the dock. Also live music. Definitely worth the $35 price tag per person.

What a great tour. We have gone on our share of boat tours. Our guide was informative and entertaining at the same time. You can tell he is knowledgeable and passionate about the area and he brought his personality into the tour. It was really enjoyable, myself, my mother and teen son all give it a big thumbs up. If you are thinking you will like it. Stop thinking and go!

Such a great tour! Our guide knew *so* much about the area, he was so easygoing too! We got to ask him lots of questions also. (And we got to bring some adult beverages on board WOOO, love that!) The covered boat made such a difference. My grandma and I did this tour and would definitely recommend it. We got to see a manatee during this tour, which was SUPER lucky since it's so hot out! But our tour guide recognized the signs that a manatee was underwater and would need to breach soon (gas bubbles, tail swishes) and we got to see it! We also got to see some owls pretty close up and learned a lot about the St. John's River

Very informative, relaxing boat tour . History of the river, plant life and wildlife pointed out and identified. 2 hour tour well worth the price plus great restaurant in the marina, Swamp House Riverfront Grill ! Captain Colin was the best.

We thought about reserving with this company but this afternoon the first mate (wearing a salmon-colored shirt) was completely rude and obnoxious to me and my husband for sitting at a picnic table near their dock point. Moments later, he removed his poorly-placed reservation sign. He was so rude I would never consider supporting this business.

This was everything I could ever want in a river tour! Doug was wonderful... friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and history of the area. I wish I'd taken notes, because I'll never remember all the cool things he shared with us. We saw gators (adult and juvenile) and turtles and more birds than I could count (the owls were the best!). Highly recommended! I'll be back to do this again.

Captain Wild Bill was entertaining and knew the history of the area and easily identified the various animals. Had a fantastic time.

Skipper Wild Bill was great - funny, informative, and entertaining. 5 stars for his jokes alone.

Our party ended up being 20 of us and we were able to share a unique link for purchasing tickets so our party was all linked together as one party. When we first boarded, there really wasn't any direction as to what to do or what we could do so we just sat down at our table and waited for someone. We weren't sure if we could or should go to the bar to order drinks or if we could walk around before dinner. It took a while (10+ minutes) for anyone to approach our table.) Once someone approached our table we ordered drinks and then walked around the boat. We went to the top deck to take some photos and watch the sunset before dinner started. Once dinner started we were able to go the buffet as munch as we wished. Since it was Italian night they had all Italian dishes, none of the dishes really stood out but nothing was bad. It was good, but not like wow! While eating they started pouring our wine samples. We got two red and two white samples and a sommelier talked us through each sample. After the first two samples they gave us a break to walk around, go to the bathroom, etc. I would have preferred a shorter break in the middle of dinner and more time in the beginning so that we could spend more time on the deck while the sun set. Tickets for this event were $65 and in my opinion it was worth it. We had a great time and it was something I could check of my bucket list!

I didn't feel like we were able to get a real show because of the location and I'm not sure it helped the queens either. They did try! Plus I appreciate that a company in the Sanford area was willing to host the show! From a river ship standpoint...the ship is showing its age and I'm not sure I heard or saw any safety protocols or briefings. I have to believe there were some because I would think that's a requirement but I must have missed it. The goldfish on the tables were a nice touch but a bit stale. Our drinks weren't weak so that was nice too. The server who came to the table was nice and able to get us what we asked for in a timely manner. Someone at our table had the pretzel and it looked decent, but I didn't try it myself.

They offered to rebook us on another day and time of our choosing. Well, I happened to be in the car when they called so accessing my schedule while I was on the phone, was not an easy task. The lady on the phone seemed SUPER annoyed with me the entire conversation. TWICE she asked if I would like to call her back. I'm sorry- are you THAT busy that you can't wait for two seconds while I pull up my calendar?!! I was so irritated by this lady's rude behavior that I almost said forget it. Refund us. We don't want to support you. You are being rude. However, my in laws were coming from out of town and I wanted them to experience the springs and the manatees. I had an entire week of activities planned for us so I just needed a second to check my calendar. If the lady who called was SOOOO BUSY, then why did she choose that time to call me? I will not get over this. Her customer service got the job done and we rescheduled but I will not forget how rude she was. On the day of our tour, we checked in at the little shack on the dock. Our tour guide was super funny! He was narrating our tour and making jokes. He was interacting with everyone on the boat. It was a cold day but we were able to see one large sunbathing gator and some hawks and other birds. The manatees were best seen from the shoreline walkway. We left a large tip for the tour guide and thanked him. He probably has no idea that the lady in the office is a real jerk.
