It's spacious, airy and light. There's a good selection of books but also a puzzle table, games, kids area, a scavenger hunt for kids, and free wifi with no login needed. I came across the information about the statue in my research when I was planning a Santa's village weekend. I then knew I was going to Rey and make a sighting happened. Saturday morning. 3 inches of snow on the ground and our cabin has no breakfast. Crum Bum (bakery) hit my radar. I parked directly across the street from Crum and I saw the Polyanna Gateway! Then I thought, where is the statue and just beyond my husband's truck, there she was! It was meant to be! I happily went up the large step, took a photo of her and then us together. I then sent the photos to my Mom!

This jubilant statue of Pollyanna has her arms flung wide and her face to the sun ready to embrace the day. Located on the front lawn of the library, the parking lot is behind the building or park in town and walk over. Across the street is the Pollyanna Gateway which is a pedestrian stairway with a piano on the sidewalk at the top for anyone to play and colorful umbrellas overhead. At the bottom of the staircase is a public mural project. Littleton, NH is a cute little town with shops and restaurants to visit while in the area. A nice stop along the way.

You can find things here that you won't find in big city library. And they are connected to the state library system for digital downloads and for any books in the system that you might request. We were visiting Lancaster as part of a trip to Santa's Village (we were…read moretaking time waiting for the 3pm entrance) and ducked in here after a visit to the farmer's market. The kids section in the basement has a puppet stage, an area to listen to books on cd and both a magic school bus and a fire truck to ride in. This in addition of a really excellent book collection including displays of books featuring the latest trends which in this case was PokemonGo and comics. We came in for a stop in the clean bathrooms and stayed for over an hour.
