While in town today visiting, our first time and loved the town and the friendly shop owners, we found this store. Very nice guys at the counter, very cool store with many different vintage items. Yes, we "adopted" more random family photos. If your into mid century furniture this is the place to go. Lots of choices. Also a fair amount of artistic paintings for sale. Clean and well organized store. And REALLY good music choices playing while we were there Sadly I took no photos. read more

Just L is likely my most favorite store ever. They had the largest selection of MCM furniture and goods that I've ever seen!! They were beautifully displayed throughout their adjoining show rooms and I also loved searching through their basement of treasures as well. I left with 2 Skelton keys, a vintage chalkboard for kids and a collection of large beautiful gem stones. It's worth the drive. Trust me. read more

All the items in this store are VERY reasonably priced, if not a bargain! You simply can't find another store quite like this in NH. I needed a change after my husband passed away. Rather than selling our house, I decided to have a new/old look. I have been in Just L dozens of times over the last 5 +/- years and been loving that store. Greg and Lance have been terrific; knowledgeable, interesting, helpful, and so much fun to work with. They helped me choose fine pieces of furniture, lighting, pictures and other furnishings and at reasonable prices. I am loving my house again, it's fresh and young feeling! Loved this store. Absolutely loved it. Why? Well it managed to take my mom down memory lane! Yup, pretty much every piece of this store had something in it that reminded my mom about her childhood or something from the past. It was so cool to see her relive some of those moments just by simply seeing some of these objects in this store! And I've never been so entertained at looking at antiques before, because this place with its modern antique focus I thought had antiques that I could actually picture in people's homes. There were quite a few things I was temped to buy myself, but had the pricetag been a little cheaper I would have jumped on board the Just L bandwagon, but my Mom felt some of the items could have been priced a little lower. But for Littleton, NH they need to make a profit somehow! It was a great way to kill some time and if I lived closer I would periodically want to come by this store just to see what else could tempt me and remind my mom about her past! One day it will be my life in a modern antique store...very strange to think about! read more

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Just L is great. The owner is great. The antiques are great. The prices are great. If we had brought a truck on our trip to the White Mountains, we would have purchased a whole lot more than we did. But considering we were driving a completely packed sedan, we probably bought more than we should have, anyway. The store is huge and packed full of mid-century gems. Lots of glassware, furniture, mirrors, and art. Some jewelry and tabletop tsotchkes. I'm actually feeling like I shouldn't write such an honest review because I want to keep coming back here and being able to afford it! So please, guys-- leave some for me :) read more

Great owners + impressive vintage collection. Variety of beautiful vintage + antique items ranging from furniture to handbags. Totally eclectic collection + everything is INCREDIBLY reasonably priced. You can even do a lil bargaining. I got a handful of antique keys that i am in love with + the owner worked with me on the price. What a guy! He even chatted with us about RI + what to do in the town while we were there... just lovely. It's hit or miss but then again, it's an antique/collectibles store. Some deals, a lot of junk but worth ten minutes of your time if you're looking to do something in downtown Littleton. They do have some nice scandinavian-accented pieces which stand apart and then they have table after table of someone else's junk. I've poked around a couple of times and found a few things to my liking. But most of this stuff is destined to go from being someone else's clutter - to yours. Just saying. read more

Who would have thought that the small town of Littleton, NH would have a top-rate mid-century modern furniture store? Certainly not me. But Monday morning Ryan and I discovered just that, in the form of Just L, a "modern antique" store. We never would have thought to look for such a shop in the town, but we were thrilled when we stumbled into it after getting our morning cappuccino and WiFi hook-up at Miller's Cafe & Bakery. Their collection of vintage glassware was swoon-worthy. I was easily able to check one much-wanted item off my shopping list: a set of 8 vintage highball/water glasses to replace the mismatched mess in our kitchen cabinets. I also scored a beautiful vintage ice bucket in mint condition and an awesome coffee carafe that I think I can use as a wine decanter as well. Their selection of Danish Modern wooden furniture was fabulous. And the prices were totally fair. Insanely fair. Especially considering what places in big cities are charging now that Mad Men is all the rage. But even better than all the merchandise were the guys running the shop: Lance and Greg. Their friendliness and helpfulness, coupled with the awesome items at fair prices, have me plotting how on earth I can justify driving back to New Hampshire just to buy furniture this winter. This place is stunning. It is curated so perfectly from large mid century furniture pieces to the smallest trinkets. Greg and Lance were so easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable. Prices were unbeatable and everything seen is the best of quality. We only stopped in Littleton for food and gas on our way home from Montreal and ended up leaving Just L with 3 new amazing mid century pieces for our home in Boston. This has easily become our new favorite antique store. We would go out of our way to visit this place again. read more

Driving home from Quebec we decided to take a lunch stop in Littleton NH. After a nice meal at the historic diner, we browsed Main St., which had tons of wonderful shops. Just L Modern Antiques was an unexpected and wonderful find, with a HUGE inventory of fabulous furniture and accessories from the 50's to the 70's. We bought a brass spider/arc lamp, something I've been wanting for years. The owner helped us figure out whether it would fit in our car (it did) and secured it well. We made it home safely and the lamp looks wonderful in the living room of our 50's house. This store beats anything similar we've found in the Boston area, and we'll definitely be back when travels take us to the White Mountains. I just wish it was closer! read more

As someone who peruses Antique stores all over the entire Norteast Region, I give Just L very high marks. The store features "modern" antiques, covering the period of Americana from the 20' into the 70's. The shop is a beautiful space that is utilized in an efficient and user-friendly way. While there is a lot to see, one never feels crowded by the merchandise. Lance, the owner, has a wonderful eye and is a treasure to work with. He is knowledgable, friendly and allows the items to speak for themselves. My husband and I were surprised and delighted to find such a gem right in our own back yard!!! In fact, my husband purchased my Christmas present there!!! We will certainly be passing the word along! read more
