Last 2 months it became ridiculous…read more All the time I went here if I could not come in I texted him to me this is polite. every time I would get about 5 texts as to why I should be there. On a visitation Saturday I was having either heat exhaustion or heat stroke Had to return to church. asked pastor for water. He said no. There was women's conference going on he could not go in. Found out later he was escorting kids to bathroom. next to water fountain. I am poor so I went to another church to have lunch. That started him text bombing me on how wrong I was. must have had 9 or 10 texts. Even though previous week we had discussed it . meant to meet with friend over those texts accidentally sent to pastor. so he sent me time to meet we met most horrible meeting ever walked out mad. In the meeting he asked me if I ever lied since i have been a christian. I. Repled in 25 years probably. His response your not a christian. He then asked me if i ever coveted another woman. Said at some point probably. Again you are not a christian. This is after telling me before he would not try to determine if someone is saved. During meeting we we're at odds about a missionary that 8 months in. Pastor said he is paying her (out. of his pocket) what he needs to understand even though he supports church the most. Tithes belong to church When bad stuff happened to me .He was happy when power went off. Since I had to give my food away and had none. He was happy i did not find place that I could have had free meal. When i lost this phone that i am typing this on he was happy and joked from now on i can read with flashlite and regular bible. He does not like bible on phone. When service started and he saw i was devastated He acted like he cared. Now he has called me a wolf because I wanted to see a revival minister there. He is hurt that I joined another church. my advice for pastor: trust your people quit texting people because they do not come. Now the good things since i live without gas electric and water. The church has helped. Gave me 25-40 gallons a month When power out he allowed me to store some frozen things in freezer and cook in microwave. Did not work well because our hours were different. Not his fault. He has jumpstarted car when i had bad alternator maybe 30. or more timed he jumped started my car. Also pastor bought me a shirt At same time I helped his family. I have brought them pies hamburger and puzzle Did not want to put all bad here. The church has helped alot. It is the help why i give 2 star rating. Ultimately had to decide if losing help would be a wise move. No income no money just food stamps. If i could turn back on church. A combination of all these things is why i devided to quit This church felt like a family. Only church that ever has. wanted to update this today. spoke to pastor today. as far as water incident he said we were both wrong more information was needed. I was wrong for comments about lying. so those comments have been removed.
