The nurses also answer any questions that they could and they were very attentive and took very good care of our friend. As an avid coffee drinker, it would've been nice to have a complementary area with coffee and water for the people in the surgery waiting area. During those long weights, these areas are always nice for those in the waiting area. Overall, the hospital and the surgery area were very good and they took very good care of our friend and the others that we saw in the area.

Once finally admitted and transferred to his room it was again several hours before we saw physician. The cardiologist was seen twice in the stay at the facility. We saw his assistant if that is what you call her more than what we saw him. They called him Dr. Koot Koot. I honestly couldn't tell you his true name as I never met him or saw him. When he did show up I was informed you could hardly understand him and he was more interested in talking to his interns than he was speaking to my child. He wouldn't allow my son to leave the hospital until he had an MRI of his heart which took forever and then we never were informed of the results until we saw a different specialist in July. After he was discharged, he was to follow up with the cardiologist which he did. He ordered an echo in April and there was no change. He didn't have a follow up appointment with my son nor did he do any labs to check his medicine that he has prescribed. He was to follow up with him in August for his checkup then called to reschedule that appointment for September due to being on vacation. I feel as though he just continued to put my child and the care he deserved off. The nurses were great unless you asked them a question and it didn't pertain to their patient, "Oh that's not my patient so I can't help you". Sorry to make you help someone as that is considered part of your job. Now we are having issues with the billing. We applied for financial aid, and he was approved however they amount of the bill after the discount is NOT reflecting the letter we rec'd. I have sent in the information for this multiple times, and nobody is able to figure out the issue. The saddest part is the billing department was the one who gave us the information to file for assistance and now they don't have the information. How convenient and the poor lack of customer service. I did billing for over 15 years and I have never in my life seen such an untrained or non efficient customer service to help anyone. I would never come back to this facility or bring my family here. It has been the worst experience from the start to the finish. The only thing was the ambulance ride. My son stated that they were nice and had a sense of humor.

I've been seen ever since I was young for broken bones, sprains, and injuries as I played soccer for 16 years. My body got pretty beat up so I was a loyal customer:) Specifically, I would like to recognize Dr. Sassmannhausen and his staff. Dr. Sass and his staff took me through 1 ACL reconstruction in high school, another one 4 years later. Following surgery I had an accident and broke my knee cap during my last semester of college. Dr. Sass scheduled me an emergency surgery which had multiple complications. And then another surgery a year later to get rid of my hardware holding my knee cap together. His staff and him were there for me every step of the way, even in the middle of the night through my rehabilitation. It was the most painful experience of my life but FWO made it bearable and was extremely sympathetic. I'm now a healthy 25 year old who still has knobby knees but I know if I ever need an ortho doctor, Dr. Sass will my be choice no matter where I live. Nothing feels as good as being able to trust a doctor with your life Thank you FWO for everything!

When she read on her computer notes that I was filing for disability, she IMMEDIATELY STARTED TO TREAT ME LIKE GARBAGE, VERY HOSTILE, yelling, and raising her voice at me. She treated me like I'm a fake, a fraud, a con-man just trying to deceive FWO to write a letter to get sympathy for disability/SSI. She said my pain management doctor (Ken Austin MD) lied and overexaggerated my test results, and painful back symptoms, when the MRI & X-Rays proves Ken Austin was RIGHT, and ABBEY BUNNELL to be a LIAR & DEAD WRONG!!! She knows with my BULGING DISC, if I continue to be active, work, lift, and stress out my back I will keep on herniating it and it will soon rupture, THEN I'LL BE IN A WHEELCHAIR. HOW CAN ANY SANE DOCTOR FORCE SOMEONE SUFFERING IN PAIN TO GO BACK TO WORK WHEN THEY ARE IN SERIOUS DANGER OF A RUPTURE. This woman is crazy!!! When I throw my back out, I'm crawling on the floor, urinating in cups, whishing I was dead, THE PAIN IS EXCRUCIATING. For 16 years, I have always been in severe pain because of my back. I have a very painful bulging disc that could dangerously herniate and rupture with the slightest of work or stress. I have arthritis, moderate degenerative disc disease, and painful bone spurs in my back that contribute to my pain. I constantly throw my back out by bending, sneezing, stress, work, anything active, and when it's thrown out, I can barely walk, sleep, or stand for up to 3 months. Abbey Bunnell deliberately downplayed my MRI report to nothing serious so I wouldn't have a credible case for filing for SSI/disability. I currently take 13 different medications for my back, anxiety, depression, cognitive disorder, carpal tunnel, etc. Abbey said by my MRI it's ok for me to work and lift 50 to100+ pounds with no fear of a disc herniation or ruptured, WHEN THE MRI SHOWS MY SPINE IS BULGING IN THE L3/L4 region, plus I have a huge lipoma pushing against my spine above the L3 L4 region that she failed to diagnose, AND DIDN'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT AS I TRIED TO EXPLAIN TO HER. This woman has personal hatred towards me. She kept cutting me off during our conversation. She kept saying she knows many people who had surgery who went back to work, THAT IS A PERSONAL INSULTING CHEAP SHOT. I'm sorry Abbey, I don't want to be hooked to narcotics for the rest of my life, and have metal plates, cages, and screws in my back THAT WILL CAUSE ME MORE PAIN, it's ridiculous! I said: what about the arthritis in my back, she said everybody has arthritis in their back, I SAID: what about the bone spurs, the bulging disc, the painful lipoma by my spine, the foraminal protrusion and facet degeneration, the frequent throwing my back out, and the aggravating pain I'm always in etc? Abbey said: EVERYBODY HAS THAT PROBLEM TOO. WHAT A LIAR, this woman is hating on me, she hates my guts, she's trying to ruin me. I have a (NO EXP) handicap placard, prescribed medications for all my conditions, a walker, quad-cane, etc, all prescribed by my doctors.
