I'm sorry to hear what sandi and gamer said, but 5/26/26 the school reputation is a better place…read morenow, the school is all about Being Respect, Orderly, accountable and Responsible (R.O.A.R) and since then 7 years ago, principals has changed constantly to Mr. Pust (great principal) then our current principal (Mr vierra) great principal as well, tries to maintain this school's reputation, there are starting to be more hands-on-learning, and overall, this place has gotten better. And I enjoy it. I'm sorry to hear what Sandi and Gamer to go through.

If I could give this school 0 stars I would! Most definitely the rudest principal I have ever…read moreencountered. A seriously dangerous incedent happend yesterday. Involving a weapon (knife). My child said he was threatened by the kid. I (the parent) was not even notified by the school. I find out through my child crying his eyes out because he's scared to go back. I get home and call school right away. I was told there was absolutly no incedent with a knife. I confront Mr. Moebus (principal) this morning 11/9/18, come to find out I was lied to yesterday and a boy did have a knife. I Tell him my son confided in me he that he was being bullied since day 1, by multiple kids. Moebus tells me quite rudely my son dishes it out too. Hmm. Ive never been informed of my son causing any issue. 11-8-18 however my son was not the one with a knife. Moebus tells me noah was not threatened by this kid cause he reviewed the cameras . First of all those cameras have no sound so how would moebus know that my child was not verbally threatened? I do know this my kid is 11 years old, he felt threatened. I would have even felt threatened. The school had litteraly all day to inform me of incident. As this happened before school started. Oh it gets better...Moebus informs me that my son is bieng suspended today for Moebus having to spend his precious time reviewing servalence yesterday. He decides my kid is a liar and suspendes him, mind you ...again, the other child had a knife, my child had no sort of weapon. As a parent I know if any child shows up at school with any sort of weapons, I'd like to be notified what happened on my child's campus ASAP! Especially if my child is on that camera footage while a kid takes a knife out of his backpack and shows it to My child, he had no idea how to handle that situation. So yea mabey he made up a bit of a lie, getting picked on all the time plays a role mentally, no wonder some poor kids kill themselves. Bullied by the kids, thinking you would be protected by a so called principal. But getting punished instead. GOOD RIDENCE PARSONS! Oh and thanks for making him feel more worthless moebus! really spectacular leadership skills

To every school, every teacher and every hard working member of the schools in Shasta County…read more Especially to all of the teachers who spent days of their own time (unpaid time) moving and setting up new classrooms for the school year. Every year all teachers spend their own time and money preparing the classrooms for students in addition to the parent meet and greet which is planned on the first day a teacher is paid after the summer break. The heart of the school is its teachers. Teachers are who we know, who love their students and are beloved by their families. I want to thank all teachers at all districts for the hard work they put in every year to create a warm welcoming environment for their students. I wish the districts would actually pay teachers for working these hours. I wish that parents knew how much teachers care about their work. I wish school board members and administrators took the time to thank all of the teachers for their ongoing education and work for which they receive no compensation. Now I want to use my voice to praise all of the heroes in each classroom in the entire world. Thank you for your ongoing work. Thank you for sticking with teaching in spite of the lack of pay, appreciation, and respect. Thank you for your smiles and positive attitudes. For those people who think, "Yeah, must be nice to have all that time off in the summer". You can be a teacher too. But, in the state of CA, plan your finances well. You will have no paid holidays. In CA you will earn only eleven checks a year but not qualify for unemployment for the twelfth month, you will pay almost half of your check in fees, insurance benefits, and taxes. You will be judged by the color of your fingernail polish, hair style or weight. It is a wonderful profession and one of the very few professions talked about during dinner. Do you remember talking about the hair style of the person working at the bank or gas station? You can be a teacher. There are many wonderful families in the world who will support you and will help you to teach. Many administrators work hard, side by side, to support students learning. Teaching is the most special career on earth. Find a Teacher Thank a Teacher Support all teachers Just read the book, 1001 ways to reward employees - most cost nothing... Find a way to reward a teacher's hard work. Be a positive person God Bless the families who trust their children to the many teachers at the many school districts. God bless the teaching staff of all Shasta County Schools I hope for a wonderful teaching year. I miss all of what teaching is and know that all of you work hard and give your whole selves to each student. Thank you Thank you Thank you
