My sons first day none of the 3 teachers addressed us, nobody transitioned him in to the room. They watched my son screaming and clinging to me and just stood there . My son then came home with a busted mouth FIRST DAY and no incident report . When i called nobody could tell me what happened . Not to mention i got a frantic call from an overwhelmed drew because my son was crying. This was his first day at daycare in his life. Drew wasn't there the next day and Wednesday my son came home with another unexplained mark on his face ! He would come home with his feet so wrinkled from being in pee wet socks . Lunch and snot all over his face and In his eyebrows DAILY . (He was picked up at 4pm) drew also called me out form work to pick my son up for a fever of 100.3. When we got home my son never had a fever nor did he begin to run one . Drew told me i HAD to bring pull ups because he would not toilet my son. WHO HAS BEEN TOILET TRAINED FOR 5 months. And they put in diapers behind my back out of PURE LAZINESS . there is no routine or consistency . I can't tell you the amount of times I've heard "he signed he needed to pee but i forgot " what is your job then ?! These teachers clearly are not properly trained or educated to handle any type of transition . I'm disgusted with how the room is ran and I had to pull my son from this center .

Well, it's been 12 years since the JCC took out a no trespass order against me. My only 'crime'…read morewas to witness, over the course of 6 months, more than half a dozen instances where staff of the JCC daycare mistreated, both physically and verbally, young children under their care. My mistake was in trusting the then director, Randy Freeman, to do the right thing. What I should have done was to call Childline and let them handle it. Randy found none of emails of complaint valid, even relating to instances of mistreatment where I had other witnesses. The JCC was going through renovations as the time and they didn't want anything to jeopardize them, so they made up some nonsense about me. I'm not perfect; however, I stand behind my words and actions always. I recently thought about requesting the JCC remove the trespass order so I can go back. I need the pool like I need oxygen. However, after perusing pictures of the staff and the board, I decided I didn't wish to ever see these people again. 'Everyone is welcome'. Yea, except the righteous Jewish disabled war veteran. What a bunch of hypocrites.

Unfortunately, the membership/billing department completely soured my experience. I've never once missed or been late on a payment, yet when a single payment failed because I'd received a new credit card (a completely normal life event), they slapped me with a $15 returned-payment fee and flatly refused to waive it as a one-time courtesy. For $15 they chose to lose a long-term, reliable member who barely even used the facility. It's disappointing to see a community organization prioritize rigid policy over basic goodwill. I won't be renewing and will be taking my membership elsewhere.
