We've found the parish overall to be fantastic in that we never go to mass wondering if we're going to have some off the wall Homily that doesn't resemble the teachings of the Catholic Church the same goes for sending our eldest to Religious Education. Our experience with the sacraments (Marriage, Baptisms, First Eucharist) is that they are also just as strict about giving due reverence there as well. They also have had Tridentine Mass and Communion Rails before they were cool again. If you want a more "touchy feely" Catholic experience, there's always several churches up the road in Oakdale, Woodbury, and Stillwater. If you're looking for more of a traditional Catholic parish to strengthen your connection with God and understanding of the Catholic faith, Holy Trinity and St. Augustine are it.

On the day of the assault, this student threatened another child, stabbed them with a pencil and broke their skin, then turned to our daughter, threatened her, and proceeded to stab her in the leg, breaking her skin. When we found out this happened from our daughter and not the school, we immediately met with the administration. All we asked was that the student be moved to another classroom. We had written confirmation from the parent and student that this happened. They would not move the student. The student's parent is on staff at the school. Our daughter was too afraid to go back to school, and we had to file for a restraining order to get them to finally move the student. The administration kept reminding us that we had to do the Christian thing, but it felt like a family's pride was being protected over the safety of our daughter. We are not sending our children back to CHA.

The teachers are dedicated, the leadership team is strong, and the center itself is beautiful and engaging for my young child. Everyone knows my child's name and is so welcoming.
