I wish I could give this place zero stars. I went in for a routine drug test, fully confident because I have never used any illegal substances. To my shock, the results came back positive--completely false and inaccurate. This has caused serious damage to my reputation and livelihood. This level of negligence is dangerous--especially for people whose careers depend on accurate drug testing. Mistakes like this can ruin lives, and it's unacceptable that a facility handling such sensitive information would be so careless. I strongly urge anyone reading this to avoid this facility at all costs. You deserve professionalism, accuracy, and respect--and you won't find it here. read more

Had to go d/t a puncture wound on my right hand which happened on a holiday weekend. Staff was extremely courteous. Was brought right back and seen by the NP. Wound was treated, shots given and scripts obtained and out the door in under 30 minutes. Very professional all the way around. read more

If you have experienced misconduct and/or malpractice from Monica Torrano as well, you can file an ethics complaint with St. Luke's, as well as report her to the PA state licensing board. I cannot believe Monica Torrano, a nurse practitioner, still has a job here. She has so many negative reviews here and on WebMD. I've been in and out of hospitals since I was an infant due to many health issues, and thus have dealt with many people in the medical field. And she is one of the absolute WORST. She is unbelievably rude, condescending, arrogant, and ignorant. I went to an urgent care to get a PCR test to confirm a positive result on an at-home rapid antigen test, which can give false positives. I took this test four days ago, and right after, had an e-appt with my GP, who prescribed me Paxlovid and Prednisone, as I am high-risk due to my asthma. During this brief conversation I had with this terrible nurse practitioner, she didn't listen to a word I said. Her write-up of the encounter was filled with so many lies. Things I never said, things that never happened. Things she twisted around. She refused to give me the PCR test, as I didn't have a fever (at the time). She also said my symptoms were too mild. It was definitely not mild before I got on medication. But she never examined me. Later, she falsified in my records that I refused an exam (I didn't, SHE refused to give me one). She also lied that I was not wheezing and my chest was clear. How would she know that if I was not examined? She never touched me with a stethoscope. She never went near me. I have severe asthma. I've had this since infancy. It's well-documented. Years of bronchitis and pneumonia from weak lungs. Years of asthma attacks, at some points every day. Years of various asthma medications. Because of this risk factor, I was prescribed a medication for my Covid infection by my GP. This terrible nurse practitioner told me that I am NOT high-risk and that I don't need to be on it. Every single website and research study about this medication states that asthma IS a high risk factor and would thus benefit from it greatly. My GP agreed. Monica Torrano is NOT a doctor. She is not my doctor. She doesn't know my history or case. And she was going against my actually doctor. This terrible person is giving terrible, untrue medical advice. She is going to end up killing people. She also lied in my records about how I only took my rapid test and tested positive one day ago, in order to make it seem like I wasn't that sick. I never said it was one day ago--I took the test FOUR days ago. And I only felt better thanks to the medications I've been on. A few days ago up until yesterday, I had a fever (highest was 102°F), runny nose, headache, muscle aches, and coughing. I still feel under the weather, but better. This terrible person told me that if I ever even had a fever, it would have only gone away with NSAIDs like Advil. Basically implying that I am lying about being sick. I said that I no longer had a fever because of the steroid Prednisone. She nastily said that that she wasn't aware it did that; that that's not how it works. Every single website on Prednisone states it LOWERS FEVER. It literally suppresses inflammation. She wrote so many nasty little comments in my chart. Avoid her at all costs. Report her to St. Luke's and the PA state board if you have also experienced any misconduct and malpractice. read more

Here for a drug and alcohol test for 2hrs and 10 min having to really go to the bathroom. How inconsiderate to not move things a little faster. Women at the desk could care less. They said 15 minutes or more that I was next, really for a 2 min test. Not only do I have to go but seriously, it's like I have nothing else to do today. They say they had an emergency but people from the waiting room were being taken back and leaving and is now empty for the 2nd time. Not happy and do not recommend coming here. I walked in and explained to them how I didn't feel comfortable signing in on the kiosks due to everyone being sick and them not wiping the screens between patients all while there are 3 people sitting at the check in desk all on their phones. I told the lady with brown hair all the way on the end that I don't see why she couldn't just check me in and she told me "f you you're not gonna come in here and tell me what to do" so then I asked for the manager and the rest of their practitioners/drs came out and kicked me off the property all due to not wanting to use the kiosk to check in. read more

I can't believe the slowness of this Carenow. It is not even that busy in the waiting area. I walked in with the intention of getting something prescribed and a 1day work note as I was sick. It turned into her interrogating me and accusing me of lying over otc medicine???? She refused to give me a work note. Thats fine, but the way she was talking to me with such disrespect, I had to walk out on her it seemed like every word I spoke angered her so much. My daughter hurt her ankle, so we made an appointment via the website. We were seen within 5 minutes of our appointment time by a very kind nurse. She took a lot of time understanding the severity of my daughter's injury. Soon after she left, an x-ray tech came in and took us to the lab for x-rays. She was courteous, thorough, and very kind. We waited about 20 minutes for results, and they were delivered by a radiologist with professionalism, knowledge, and empathy. Overall, the experience was extremely pleasant. Rude people. The guy at the desk is is not trained to be here alone and he is. I'm here for my wife for a pre employment drug test and physical. Her appt was for 845. We been waiting an hour, she went up three times to this idiot to tell her they better hurry or she gonna pee herself and the idiot says hang on a couple minutes. Well we are still sitting here. Apparently now a person has to leave another facility to come and help this guy because he is clueless. Finally got called back at 1015am. And the lady was a true bitch to my wife. The people working from the receptionist to the phlebotomist has no idea what they are doing. I have been called 4 time to go back to the lab for their irresponsible and higly unprofessional mistakes. First they couldn't sent the blood on time so i had to back then they did antigen instead of antibody teat then i went back again then i got a call that they collected the wrong tube now they are asking to go back again. I have had severe asthma for 43 years so I know my body. I could diagnose myself at this point. I couldn't get in to see my doctor so I came in with a bit of wheezing symptoms for a few days and no other symptoms of illness. I knew I needed prescription steroids to help open my chest up. At first the doctor was nervous about prescribing them due to a possible side effect of another issue, however, after explaining myself, and her looking into my recent records, she agreed that I was correct. I had about a 15 minute wait at 6:15 PM and a 10-15 minute visit with the doctor immediately afterwards on a Tuesday! read more

I went here today because I have been having a cough and headache for weeks. It began when my work began replacing the carpet in our office. The fumes from the carpet glue were giving me headaches and prolonged exposure gave me a cough that I couldn't get rid of. I wasn't sure if it was just the chemical fumes or if I was actually sick on top of that. The nurse practitioner listened to what I thought was going on and decided it was most likely an acute allergic reaction to the chemicals in the office. She suggested a few things I can take. I asked if prednisone would be advisable to help with the Respiratory issues and she said she wasn't sure but she would ask the physicians assistant. Next thing I know the physicians assistant barges in with an attitude and asked what's going on. I tried to explain what has been happening. She listened to my lungs and said well you lungs are clear so just take some allergy medication. I said so you think it's an allergic reaction to the chemicals and she snapped back "I didn't say that" she refused to make any correlation between the chemicals and how I felt. She made me feel like an idiot for suggesting that it was the chemicals and suggested I was trying to get out of going to work. I left the office and just cried. Now I still don't feel good and I have to go back into the office that keeps making me sick. If she would have at least made the correlation between my symptoms and the chemicals I could have asked my employer to move me into a different part of the building till the carpets were done. The woman at the front desk and the nurse practitioner were both wonderful but the PA was an asshole with zero empathy. I would go here again but if they tried to stick me with that PA I would insist on someone else or I'd leave. Never again!!! read more

During the holidays, I came down with a mean chest cold. I normally hate going to the doctor because they cost an arm and a leg, but my doctor's office wasn't open so I went to this urgent care center. First of all, I had to wait around an hour to be seen. The doctor's gave me a chest x-ray, told me to take some medication and rest (real expert stuff). About a month and a half later I get a crazy bill for my services there. They charged $455.00 for "Urgent Care" (which wasn't very urgent considering I had to wait an hour). And they also charged $195.00 for "Professional Fees". So it essentially costed $455 just to walk in the place, and $195 just to see the doctor. This place is a rip off and they don't care about their patients. Don't go here. read more
