Always greeting children with a smile on their faces and making sure our little ones have the best experience in social, emotional and educational development. They are focused on playology, and Jacqueline has mastered play-based learning. On top of that she is so smart, kind and sincerely loves her students and teaching them. The activities are so fun, like smashing hallow eggs with letter to learn the alphabet or matching rocks to outlined shapes. She goes all out on occasions, once she even brought in snow for the kids! Seriously, snow! And they had a blast. Really, she should be teaching others how to teach in the play based way. The kids love her program and her, and benefit greatly from it. My children don't want to leave and have developed so much during their time at the Gordon Preschool. We are so blessed to have met Jacqueline and attended the Gordon Preschool!!!!

They took to the time to do a meet and greet and made her feel right at home. We started the next week! She has learned so much, talks about the friends she has at school and requests that we drive by Ms. Jacqui's house whenever we get in the car so she can see pre-school. The creative learning/play schedule that she comes up is really unique. They even brought in real snow for a day! The toddler years are full of so many emotions, so much brain development and honestly every day can be a different challenge. I love that they recognize that and know exactly what they need to do to make the day go smooth for each child. We love Gordon Preschool!

The teachers are invested in the program, the kids have an UNBELIEVABLE outdoor yard that is unrivaled here in Orange County. He's now attending a private elementary school and is thriving all directly related to his participation in this school. Had a job interview here but did not have the right amount of units complete that they had posted…read morein their job ad. But the right amount in progress & I mentioned this to them via email, phone and texting with the directors and sent them my transcripts. They were aware but still brought me in for the interview and I thought awesome as a lot of schools allow for in progress units. Only to find out when I got there they brought me in for a potential position in the future because they liked my resume and phone interview. I had to sit through an hour interview knowing I wasn't getting the current job. I was NOT told this when asked to come in for an interview. The whole thing was weird energy between the assistant director and director and a waste of a 40 min drive and me taking a day off. The assistant director was incredibly warm and the main director was cold. I can't speak on the education etc.. of this school. But I did not appreciate my time being wasted for a "potential" position months away. As I was looking for and applied for current employment and should have been informed otherwise.

I was so excited to have my son (4 years old) start school here. The classrooms, daily routine,…read moreplayground are all set up really amazing. Unfortunately my son only went 3 total days before we ended up not returning. The story: on the 3rd day I picked my son up from the playground at the end of the day, the moment he saw me he immediately broke down sobbing saying his head hurt really bad and a kid had hit him with a shovel. Obviously concerned, I asked the teachers what happened and asked why I was not notified, and why he didn't receive any ice or first aid? All 4 teachers took turns blaming each other, changing their story from one teacher saw the incident, to nobody saw the incident, and then they said they did not have to notify me of injuries that did not leave a mark. One teacher even told me to "take it down a notch" as I asked questions regarding what happened. My son cried holding his head for 3 hours and threw up. I took him to Kaiser Irvine ER where they said he had a mild concussion. Keep in mind I have the toughest little boy who has never cried at school, and regularly falls and does crazy things and never blinks an eye. So I knew something was wrong. None of the teachers apologized. Zero leadership or accountability as adults. I don't expect perfect and it is very normal for accidents to happen on. The playground, but I expect basic first aid and a notification. Keep in mind, on the first day of him going to mariners, my son was also hit again with a "block" on accident. It left no mark, but he did receive ice, it was documented on the procare app, AND I received a phone call. Nobody had any explanation as to why none of this happened when he was hit in the head 2 days later with a shovel. (Which they do have on the playground gardening area) I made an appointment with the director, I received a full refund (about $1500 of fees), and they admitted policy was not followed by the employees. We haven't returned to mariners at all since this incident as it was just such a disappointment. Mostly just the complete lack of care and compassion toward my little boy than anything else. I can't recommend Mariners at all.

All of the staff are so nice and wonderful with the kids but my daughter has taken a special liking to Ms. Jessica and Mr. A, they are both so nice and wonderful with her. What I appreciate most is how safe I feel when she is there, if I forget to tell them she isn't coming on a certain day, within 2-3 min I get a call from Adrian to make sure she is okay and confirm I have her! Would definitely recommend this program to all my friends.

As a result, he is more than adequately prepared to start Kindergarten in the Fall. The teachers and administrative staff here are so genuinely kind to the children and parents. My son is excited to go to school every day and doesn't stop talking, all the way home, about every detail of his day. His teachers are warm and welcoming and demonstrate a very high level of patience and understanding with the children. I have been most impressed, though, with the curriculum that has been introduced to my son during his time here. Mathematics, literature, science, art and music. All around, it's just a wonderful experience and I feel absolute confidence that my son is being well cared for while he's away from me.
