Between the worship music, the sermons, the friendly staff and volunteers, the bookstore, and the many opportunities to volunteer, I immediately felt 'at home.' I've gotten involved a little, here and there, and have enjoyed volunteering. This church has so much to offer, in so many ways. Love what they're doing to get young people back in the church…read more This was my first time attending this location, although I'm actually here all the time since they're attached to The Dream Center, a nonprofit that serves the homeless, lower income, and people in human trafficking. The lobby area is tighter than the UA campus, but it's good because greeters are more apt to see you and talk to you. They seem to be much nicer here. They were selling apparel in the lobby, so I had to take a look. Got myself a windbreaker to rep the church. I recognize a lot more faces at this campus. It was nice. Service was great. The singers on stage were also good. Seems like more undergrads tend to be at this campus since it's close by. You can sit upstairs in the balcony or downstairs. The space is smaller than UA, but it's a good size since UA has more people. They have Wednesday and Sunday night services too. We were at the 10:45am service and it was still filled with lots of people. I saw a few families, older people, and definitely some students. Parking is tricky. Since I volunteer here on occasion, I know to drive through into the second spot. Otherwise, wait a while before leaving. Would love to come back again though! I enjoyed the energy on stage. The high ceilings also made the space feel a bit more open. They're made of wood. I felt close to nature. Lol.

Continuum has been wonderful for my husband and I. Being in our 20's, having been raised in…read moredifferent spiritual backgrounds, and wanting something more fulfilling than what either of us had experienced, we went "church shopping" shortly after we got married. A random Google search of churches in the area lead us to Continuum and we both felt instantly at home. The discussion-style message and inclusion-oriented environment was exactly what we were looking for! I was tired of my traditional "Christian" background where we preached love and acceptance but never truly practiced it, and he was tired of hearing that, in order to have faith, you had to let go of a natural desire for logical explanation. At Continuum you will find more TRULY Christ-like attitudes and logical discussions than I thought possible in any church, let alone in the same church. We like to compare it to a college course that everyone is ACTUALLY into and where everyone respects each other's right to disagree during the discussion. We discuss relevant, real-world issues without screaming, hate, or becoming indignant. I can honestly say, having been to countless churches of varying denominations, and about a million youth groups while growing up, Continuum is one of a kind. (Though I sincerely hope that is not always the case) We are expecting our first child in August, and I am so very sincerely happy that we have a spiritual community to introduce him to that will never tell him what to think, but will teach him how to think. I dearly love the people at Continuum though we are all vastly different, and cannot wait for our son to learn from and grow with us in that community. So, if nothing else, I highly recommend checking it out & if it's not your style, we'll help you find a good fit for you in the area that is. :)

To me, I felt I was put-off by her, that she was too busy to speak to someone, that might have been a perspective member. I gave her some information concerning on-line web-site for memorial pages for those that have passed. I do not think that I was asking too much. The church I attend in Springfield, Clark, Ohio, is more friendly than she was. I put out some names of people that live, and have lived in London, Madison, Ohio. She seemed to recognize the names, I said seemed, but that did not make any difference. The woman, was cold, trying to rush me.- If that is how the congregation is, I would not want to attend that particular Church------ First Presbyterian of London, Madison, Ohio. Only time will tell.
