The incredible staff, music leaders/musicians and volunteers make church a pleasure. Our kids love it there and the relaxed environment allows for an easy Sunday morning routine for us. Children's ministry is excellent as well and the youth leaders are wonderful, especially Ryan Ventura and Adam. I highly recommend. It's a blended community with affluent Indian Hill residents to more middle class Anderson Twp. and surrounding areas. Everyone is welcoming and they offer great bible studies and men and women's groups alike.

I attend this church and really like it. What drew me to it initially was its refreshing take on…read morethe Bible. Their doctrine is based on the Bible, so they don't observe holidays like Christmas or Easter, and they meet on the Sabbath--just like Jesus did. They have two services, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Other churches do that and usually one of them is "contemporary" and the other is "traditional," but both services at UCG are the same style, which is very traditional. They split it into two services just out of space considerations because the building isn't quite large enough to comfortably hold all the members in one service. I think the people are all wonderful and welcoming. It also seems like the church is very alive and energized--socials, pot-lucks, get-togethers, Bible studies on Wednesday nights every other week, volleyball leagues, leadership/speaking clubs, and all that kind of thing seem to be going on all the time. If you're looking for a church that isn't all about entertainment, but which has solid doctrinal standing with a serious and literal take on the scriptures, and a warm environment of fellow Christ-followers, this is a great place to attend.
