For those who don't know it's similar to AA and NA. The pastor seemed oddly resistant to let us form a support group, had us fill out some passifying paperwork, and never bothered to get back in touch with me about it. Possibly a filing error, if I'm to give the benefit of the doubt, but he didn't seem interested in helping the Anonymous community. Later follow-up on this issue revealed the pastor believes meetings for groups like NA and AA will lead to unsavory types being around the church and interfering with the clean community he seeks to foster there. Not the most supportive position for those trying to rebuild their lives and stay on the good path.

The poor, the homeless and the drug addicts are welcome and get ministered to. The pastors really love their congregation and it's very apparent that the congregation loves them. I've been going there for a while now and have zero plans to stop.
