He does not back away from the tough subjects or questions but invites them so that we as Christians can grow stronger in our faith and our relationship with God. I look forward to service every Sunday because I feel renewed and closer to My Lord when I leave. Our daughter is almost 5 years of age and she loves going to church. They have great Praise and Worship for children and my daughter knows all the songs they sing by heart. There are always tons of ministry outreaches and events going on there. If you only go to church on Sunday, you are missing 95% of what's happening there. Very well organized with an early 'traditional service' and a second more modern service focused on…read morea younger crowd. The pastor seems passionate and focused with a great sermon every Sunday and everyone I have met has gone out of their way to make me feel welcome. It is a large church, they take audio and video of every service and broadcast online for anyone who cannot make it. There is bible study groups after each service and during the week for all ages. If you are in the Raytown area and looking for a church this one is worth checking out.
