Instead, I'm looking at their contribution to the community, and for that they get stellar marks. They have hosted Red Cross blood drives for years, and as someone who has laid on those cots 24 times, I really appreciate how they make their space available to the Red Cross so many times a year. The drives are held in the huge basement level function room in the back of the building, and there is lot of room for the check in table, the rows of chairs for the waiting donors, the interview booths, the donation cots, and the recovery canteen. I've also been to the First Church dozens of times for Boy Scout functions. First Church has been the home of Troop 76 for decades. The monthly meetings are in the same downstairs room the Red Cross uses, and the Eagle Scout ceremonies are held in the upstairs chapel. The chapel is a beautiful space and a perfect location for the Eagle ceremony. So for community service, the First Church gets the highest rating possible.

Their desire to see each one of us living the life that God intended us to live...by glorifying the Christ above all else...is beautiful, and they make every attempt to see that happen. Wintonbury is very focused on reaching out to the lost - here and abroad, the spiritual development of our youth, and equipping the congregation to go out and participate in the Lord's work. The contemporary worship is Spirit-led and wholehearted. The teaching...unbelievable and Bible based. I've grown more in these past few years at Wintonbury than in my whole Christian life!
