Mass was celebrated by a priest and deacon, and the homily was excellent. They had two collections, but doubt that is normal. People seemed friendly and you could tell there was a real sense of community. What I didn't like was that communion was just the host, no precious blood. As well, one of our group was not catholic, and went forward for a blessing at communion and the EM in that line did not seem to know what to do. Another small personal annoyance is that the tabernacle is off in a side chapel, so you don't get to see the sacrament being reposed in the tabernacle. All in all though, a really nice church.

The church is diverse, the pastors are intelligent and compassionate and the body is very active. There are multiple activities and groups for all ages. The worship team does an excellent job with a combination of modern worship songs and traditional favorites. The church even has a cafe that sells coffee and light breakfasts to encourage people to mingle. The head Pastor, Bill Clay, is an EXTREMELY gifted listener and mentor. If you are searching for answers to life's difficult questions, he is a very capable spiritual leader who can likely help you find your way. The churches many support groups also offer help to a lot of people in the community. This is the kind of church that welcomes everyone with open arms. It's also not the kind of place you can slip in and out of unnoticed. If you seek a church community that will provide support and become a part of your life, this is the right church for you. If you like to sit in the back row and not be noticed and never have what your preconceptions challenged, this church won't be a good fit for you. I LOVED this church and wish I had found it sooner. If I still lived in the area, the Nazerene church would still be my home church.

It's a bit of a hike for me to get to, but it was worth it because I was with my family. They have tons of different food choices, loads of carnival games, and lots of rides for all to enjoy. I don't do carnival rides, because, if you know me, you know I get extremely sick on rides that go round and round, and would ruin everyone's night if I got on one. So, I stuck with food and watching my niece and her friend enjoy the fair. The food was fairly decent. I would stay away from the clams and crabs though. They weren't that good. The cheesesteak was good considering it's fair food. I wish I had room for funnel cake because it looked Amazing. I was drooling watching other people eat it. Hahaha. Price for rides were decent as well. For $30, you get a wristband that gives you unlimited rides from 6pm-11pm (close time). If you're in Medford, definately come check it out.
