This one does the job and there's usually a machine free when you need one. Last time I checked, it was more expensive than Headington Launderette, but sometimes it's worth paying a bit extra to avoid carrying your laundry further. A wash costs from £3-£4.50. The machines are card-operated and you can buy cards from the internet shop next door. I find this quite annoying, especially as I think they have a minimum spend limit of around £30 (it used to be £28). Not good for one-off use, or when you're in a hurry. I still think it's easier to look for change. They've got driers as well, and it's quite a sociable place, but lots of minus points for the confusing card system.

I also take my shirts/blouses to be pressed and they are returned to me beautifully ironed and on wire hangers. This is not expensive, in my opinion, £5 or £6 for five (if my memory is correct).

They immediatly got on the phone to the tailor, who came in on a Saturday to measure me up! Their seamstress was much like the rest of the staff in there, professional, welcoming and offered honest advice. I required the whole dress to be taken up from the zip by 2 inches with a very tricky mesh material and it only cost £20.00. I am delighted with the outcome of the dress and would like to thank all the staff at Excel for their excellent service. With a particular mention to the owner of the shop, who was very helpful and even helped remove the label from the dress for nothing. Think I will definatly be coming here again!

In my experience, they do great work, often while you wait or will give you a time of completion and they'll be ready when you come back. They saved my favourite pair of shoes, doing a leather repair job that must rival the work of the most talented surgeons - and there was no noticeable scarring on the leather. Trustworthy and well worthwhile. These guys work hard and earn the kudos they get. Definitely a quality operation.

Personally, I don't think it's worth it, although everything can be washed an ironed in 48 hours. The main reason people use this is for items that are difficult to wash yourself, like suits, ballgowns, leather, suede and rugs. I know people who find it great for duvet covers and general upholstery, and they're now in possession of a rather impressive looking carpet cleaning machine with a delightful sign announcing how many kg of human skin are in the average carpet. Lovely. The staff are professional and the prices reasonable, although they vary from item to item. Generally if you're going to use their dry-cleaning services, you're at their mercy price-wise, especially if it's the only way of getting a particular stain off. With this in mind, I'm grateful they don't seem like much of a rip-off and the nice crisp, clean feel of an item you thought you'd lose that's now wearable again is worth an awful lot.

I had some equipment that was broken that I had purchased from them!... and then quoted me plus of £100 to get it fixed. Not to mention they wanted me to purchase a case from the store as they refused to fix it when it was already broken. So I went down to the music box, down the road from PMT and the bloke fixed it with a smile. We had a good chat and charged me £10 for everything!!!! Just shows what sort of people who work at PMT. Failed musicians who want to charge people ridiculous amounts to ruin their fun. Never returning and never giving a good name about the place. Such a shame as I have spent a lot of money here. but hey ho, you live and you learn.

What a mistake; What a waste of time. Wanted to order few things and I was lured to come to the shop in order to benefit from px for my old (pristine) amp/fx module etc. This guy even said best to buy from the branch. Same guy agrees a price over the phone based on if pristine. I turned up with my pristine giant amp ( I drove there 26 miles and carried the AMP) which he agreed to the fact it was pristine and offers me £39( it is a £480 amp when new) towards my order. I rather donate the gear towards an upcoming musician to give them the opportunity. I will most certainly not going to spend my money in this store! Ordered the kit I wanted online from Andertons happy days.

At the back of your mind, there is always a real suspicion that the local council or Government will pull the plug on it given the slightest excuse. This is an old stables that has been converted into a series of workshops arranged around a central courtyard. I tripped over it while looking for a location for a magazine shoot. It was perfect for our purposes and the pic I have uploaded is from that day, I took it off the bridge overhead the courtyard. I love the simple design at work here. What impressed me the most about this place was the positivity; you could feel it bursting out of the walls and windows, I loved it. If you are young and arty, and you ever get the chance to spend any time here, then go for it. It is not possible that it wouldn't be in some small way rewarding, and it may just change your life.

The shop is tiny, the staff are generally fairly short term (they must turn them over at a hell of a rate as they never have any real depth of product knowledge) but the products, ooh the products. The raison d'etre of this shop is not to be cheap - it's not that cheap! No. I think the reason this is here is that its's cheaper than billboard advertising. Plus where can you shout more effectively to the yummy mummies in their SUVs as alongside the car park at Bicester Village?! I'm being a little tongue in cheek; we have bought here a few times and enjoyed the experience. I would definitely buy from them again if they had what I was looking for. THE (CRAFTS)MAN WITH THE VAN…read more Having been given word of mouth recommendation by neighbours, we enlisted F.S.C. proprietor Francis Corcoran to do some garden work at the front of the house. Very satisfied with that, we then asked for a quote to remove a ridiculous rockery from the bottom of the back garden, which was effectively reducing its usable size. The rear fence also required replacement. From the initial expression on his face, (http://photobucket.com) I had the impression that he did not really fancy demolishing the damned thing, but sure enough, he came through with a quote. He was very proactive in suggesting a design for a patio, recommending materials ( and justifing why). We did not get any further quotes but decided to use him. The price seemed reasonable and I appreciated his input. Not so much What do you want? but more I would suggest". The job was sorted out in a record time of just a few days. Francis is a real grafter (filled a skip with rubble and earth in some 4 hrs!), (http://photobucket.com) as well as being a precision craftsman. (http://photobucket.com) Odd issues inevitably cropped up as they do (buried lumps of concrete, even an odd underground mesh of heavy steel cable) and he always managed to come up with a logical solution rather than a 'bodge'. These problems were all sorted out with despatch. When the patio was finally complete, he even managed to pull the (full and heavy) shed across so that it aligned perfectly! I have no hesitation in recommending him wholeheartedly for garden landscaping, maintenance, fencing, turfing, patios and general renovation/repair. The new patio is now guarded by a charming soapstone carving which was rescued from Zimbabwe before barmy brute Bob Mugabe became a total basket-case. (http://photobucket.com) So depending upon the prevailing climatic conditions, the 'terraza' is definitely being put to good use! (http://photobucket.com) With so many 'cowboy builders' around these days, it is a refreshing change to find one of this calibre.
