Bookings can be made via email or Facebook messaging and they're very quick to respond. We had been eying up their menu for about a month but changed our minds last minute when they updated with news of an onglet steak special! For starter I had the asparagus with Lancashire cheese and lemon which were cooked to perfection and had a very refreshing flavour. For mains I went for a Shashuka-style spicy pepper and tomato stew which came out piping hot and served with a slice of toasted sourdough and a simple but surprisingly tasty salad. The stew was thick and had a nice kick to it and the egg was perfectly runny. I was tempted to order sides but wanted to save room for dessert - I went for a tangy rhubarb with meringue and vanilla cream (there wasn't much ginger flavour in mine but it was still delicious)! They've not got their license yet so it's BYOB with 10% corkage charge. There is a range of soft drink from their day time venue owner to choose from though! What I loved most after all that tasty food was that home was only a two minute walk home! I'd definitely recommend people to make a visit! You can always finish the night off by going down to the Sip Club for a drink afterwards!

I stood for a while watching them create such amazing Malaysian dishes from fresh ingredients - and when I got my chance to try some I was blown away. The fish dish I had was so tasty and incredibly well cooked considering it's being served from a street stall! It was very spicy but they managed to get the balance of spices just right. I would order this again! I sampled the squid and also the fishcake - and WOW the fishcake was divine. I didn't try the ribs that were brought around, but I did watch other Yelpers tuck into them and they seemed happy so thumbs up for the ribs too! The bubble tea was certainly an experience too! A weird but tasty refreshing juice drink that had small bubbles of juice floating around at the bottom. Occasionally one would fly up your straw and, if you avoid choking on it like I did, they pop and release a different flavour of juice. Very odd - but very good. If I'm in Alty Market again soon I'll be paying them another visit!

The balance of their spices especially in their fish dishes is perfect , and their hospitality is even better.. I now know that they come to the Altrincham market 4 days a week, so I will be coming back for some of their grub..

Food-wise, the offerings were impressive. Oh Mei Dumpling was great, the only bummer was they vastly under-budgeted and ran out while they still had a large queue some hours before closing. Luckily I got in there quickly! Ottomen was very popular too but had a very lengthy queue, apparently they take a long time explaining the offerings to each customer to make sure they get the ideal combo which is nice customer service except for the fact that customer has had to spend 30 minutes in a queue while their friends drink elsewhere - maybe some sort of explanatory blackboard or better labelling could speed things up. Macdaddies also did an impressive vegan offering - you def wouldn't know it's not cheese. Vendor wise, the vegan pies and arancini were both great, would definitely recommend those to take away for some tasty lunches post your Sunday come down. Drinks options include a decent variety of local beers, of course local doesn't necessarily mean good and it's mostly keg here but you'll find something drinkable. They also have some fancy soft drinks of varying quality, at least they are a bit different though!

This should be their permanent home for the forseeable future, all year round. The new place has a bit of a different layout, since it's based in a two storey building - downstairs has an enlarged bar and seating area, a children's play area and the toilets; upstairs is a much larger seating area plus when we were there a wine bar, cakes and a DJ. Street food vendors are located outside, in the yard at the rear. Go out back and get some food, then head back inside to get some drinks and a seat. Other than the new venue though, this is still the same GRUB we know and love. Fantastic street food from an ever changing list of vendors, great local beers, great music and a relaxed vibe - and the whole place is family and dog friendly. Oh, and I nearly forgot - everything on Sundays is vegan!

A-MA-ZING! This is the best Take Away I've ever been to (and the only one going foward!)…read more We drove past late on Saturday evening on the off chance Nasi Lemak was open and it was (YAY!!). While making our choice the gentleman serving gave us a taster of a few different curries, but on this occasion selected a few light Street Food starters. The Thai Glass Noodle Salad is gorgeous, fresh, full of flavour and spicy. The Chicken Skewers with Satay Sauce was a taste sensation with a tangy peanut sauce (not heavy or oily) and the Salt Pepper Cod Fish Goujons were suculent and just flaked apart. Considering NL were just about to close the food was excellent and not what I was expecting at the end of a Saturday night. This is high quality restaurant food but take away... I LOVE IT....can you tell?!! Oh, and next time I'll be having Beef Rendang on Nasi Lemak...thanks for letting us try it, the beef just fell apart!!

Nasi Lemak is located just under the Vibe apartments in heart of the new Broughton Village in Salford, and there is a free car park just outside. As a walk in customer the service is great, the staff will help explain the menu and even bring out little tasters for you to try before ordering. I recommend the cold noodles, the chicken satay and the salt and pepper cod!! I've also had take away from here using Just Eat and the food weas delivered in less time than they quoted. The staff and friendly and socialable, always communicating with you via twitter if you so wish. Overall a great addition to the street food availabel in Manchester, and even better another notch for Salford! A tasty fast food option that doesn't leave you feeling over faced like other takeouts do!
