I was very impressed with the entire experience, but especially the minister. I have been to several churches over the years and I always appreciate the ones where the minister feels human, and Beth Wolfe definitely does. The best way I can explain it is that she is partly preaching, and partly story-telling. Her style would be great for people new to attending church as she makes the bible stories relatable, one would not feel "lost" in the preaching if one hasn't been deep in the bible. And for the long-timers, she adds a new perspective to bible passages that may otherwise feel very familiar, which makes them feel fresh. I honestly stopped by on a lark this week, but I was sufficiently impressed that I expect to attend again. Do yourself a favor and go a time or two and see if the atmosphere doesn't inspire you to keep going back.
