I can't say enough good things about the staff and everyone I've had contact with. They've all been very welcoming, responsive to questions, and communicative with regards to events and updates. There's free coffee and tea, tableware, an oven, microwave, and basic tableware at each location. The downtown space is a whole block in the grain exchange so is much bigger and has more meeting space. It also has access to the skyway and government tunnel. Very ritzy with lots of food options nearby so if you're trying to impress I recommend this over NE.

We hosted a business event for 40-50 people in the Performance Hall and catered through FRGMNT Coffee downstairs. Drinks are pretty cheap. They have GREAT bar food! I usually get the fries with seasoned sour cream & the dry spice chicken wings (seasoned very well). This time we tried a new chipotle special of the month wing. It was really good. Just the right amount of sauce & spice. Food is reasonably priced! It's a smaller venue and seating is pretty tight. If you want a good spot get there early! I believe doors open an hour prior. Also they have a parking lot but with Club Underground being under an actual bar (Spring Street Tavern) & this event is on a Saturday night parking gets kind of tight in the lot. It's still an extremely convenient, cute coffee shop to stop at while biking the excellent trails in the area. There's a lot of seating inside and a nice patio to relax on with your bike. The owner and staff were all really nice and the coffee itself was pretty good. They've got a few snacks but it's not a full-service cafe anymore. There's a water fountain with a bottle filler outside and a porta-potty (that's not cleaned enough) by the patio if you don't want to buy a snack or drink but need a pitstop. I'll have to stop in more on my rides because it's still a great place.

The natural light from the many windows provide excellent ambience throughout the club. Other conversations do not carry over I have also attended a few meetings which were catered upstairs in one of the meeting rooms.
