I wanted to find a church, and a preacher that would preach what the Word of God said, and not just what I wanted to hear. I wanted to know how to be saved according to the Bible, and put my own ideas a side. (Because my ideas were what got me on the wrong road in the first place!) My husband & I started having a Bible study with another couple, and the word of God came alive to me! For the first time ever, I saw how to be saved! It hasn't always been easy, but that is when God's unfailing faithfulness steps on the scene to help! From the day I decided to make a commitment to Jesus, to this very day, God has blessed me! He has done so many amazing things in my life, including healing me of cancer! I give this church and our leadership 10 stars. I give Jesus a thousand hallelujahs and a million stars...

He started on a rant about gay people, then ramped up his hate message including people with tattoos, different colored hair, and that dressed like celebrities. "She stole from the Church!"…read more Indeed I did folks. I've lived here three years now and this was my first visit to the local cathedral of (OUR) Catholic church. I think an unfortunate penchant for Mr. Mack Donald and his nearby business establishment Of course they were closed for Labor Day (and weekend), but one of my FB-announced goals for the day was to visit Mr. Mack Donald, possibly buy unsweet tea or french fries, and quite possibly apply for a job... I'd seen it on the map before, seen it was behind the mall and Mr. Mack Donald's place, but I'd never ridden a bike or even walked back there. Odd that my experience with other quasi-religious males has been they avoid my conjoined presence at church functions with great fervor and devotion to course of action. Literally, in the collegiate housing business for three years here, newly arriving males will gladly attend any worship services besides their own, needless to say. The point of this sermonizing is that peeps all over on labor day are union-organizing, rabble-rousing, and hell-raising. I'd tuned in to gospel yimmer-yammer that morning and heard the preacher attack the greedy indolent wealthy, and of course it's on labor day when union organizers far and wide seek to break the back of our imperial capital oppressors, etc. Long story short, I'd been checking safety, security, access of dumpsters, recycle bins, trailers, RV homes, and local businesses for a mile heading due West to our Catholic church, the same Roman Catholic Church institution where I was duly confirmed and lapsed, specifically Our Lady of Lourdes on the West Side of Cincinnati. Driving in I found no one around, so I bolted like a rabbit to look over their trash and recycling operations. And just like (DONT CARE) in that movie (NACHO SELLOUT), you knows where the orphan chips are at Church, but you gotta find Mr Dive, Mr Dumpster Dive, etc. Then, knowing well enough the elements of theft, I sought out their recycling operation. I then picked out a choice item for some petty larceny, to wit: WE LEARN ABOUT MASS, Gerard Moore, 2007, ISBN 978-1-56854. As I picked it up, I exclaimed both (YOINK!) and (HA-HA-HA!), thus proving that I did steal the book outright. Nuff said? But at least I didn't gamble yesterday, and especially as my only opportunities to do so these days are with machines at bars. And I didn't drink until communion, Rome local time, the cheapest glass of wine available for sale in Monmouth. And I found a much better alternative to the business establishment of Mr. Mack Donald, the Chase Bar and Grill, a family owned establishment. And given it was labor day, a whole bunch of us spent several hours cleaning up cigarette butts, empty glasses, plates for departed guests, etc, and all the while none of us (quite?) went on strike. You see peeps, just as we're supposed to pay attention to Father (DON'T CARE JUST YET) at Mass, the rules of the road all over the place insure that organized labor peeps can't get their corrupt union boss friends to go on strike or organize their workplace. Just read Rush Limbaugh's book "THE WAY THINGS OUGHT TO BE." Rush is no libertarian, so he makes his bones arguing for things other than the axiom (MAN ACTS). He therefore has to allow the workers a place to stand and assert their universally acknowledged rights to collective bargaining. The singular example that Rush cites is that the farmer at harvest time must never accept the workers on a bus headed for the fields sitting down and refusing to work, going on strike, and claiming their universally acknowledged right to collective bargaining. It's just that simple, and that's why we can't get rid of (ALL) the Mexicans, that's why someone on the bus has drugs, or they're in an ethnic or street gang. And the point of gang affiliation is that first the gang protects the community, then preys on the community. There must and will be someone on that bus to insure that the workers harvest the crops, otherwise our nation-state will be headed back to 50% private sector representation. And I might add, while the military forbids service personnel from forming a labor union, you can spend all the time you want kvething about the benefits of collective bargaining at work, no kidding. Moving on though, I got the bike past Mr Mack Donald's place of business, past Saint Patrick, and no further West than Chase Bar and Grill. And throughout the day there was much discussion of unionization and de-facto strike arrangements. Pretty much turned into a siesta lasting hours at the Bar and Grill, then it was time to ride West into the night looking for French Fries.
